Caroline Evelyn Basurto
Caroline Evelyn Basurto, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 22, 1922, in Scribner, Neb. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Joe D.; one son, Ronald Basurto of Nebraska; one sister, Marion Dahl of Iowa; two brothers, Henry Blumm Jr. of Nebraska and Ronald Blumm of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4:30-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
William A. Bozarth
William A. Bozarth, 55, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Ohio. A resident for 15 years, he was an electrical engineer and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Bozarth of Henderson and Kelly Bozarth of Bartlett, Tenn.

Bernabe Caguimbal
Bernabe Caguimbal, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1948, in the Philippines. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired district manager for a restaurant and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Taylan Caguimbal; four sons, Gregory T. Caguimbal Sr. of Salinas, Calif., and Conrad T. Caguimbal, Richard T. Caguimbal and Bernabe T. Caguimbal, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Vanessa T. Caguimbal of Las Vegas; six brothers, Vincente Caguimbal of Las Vegas, Mario Caguimbal, Tony Caguimbal, Carlos Caguimbal and Pepito Caguimbal, all of Salinas, and George Caguimbal of Round Rock, Texas; three sisters, Rosalinda Tajan, Marcelina Taganas and Gail Rapacon, all of Salinas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Gerald Ralph Derby, 72, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. He was born April 25, 1931, in Denver. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired, self-employed insurance claims adjuster and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; two sons, Michael Derby and Kent Derby, both of Boulder City; and two grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Jean L. Diorio, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 22, 1922, in Lindsay, Calif. A resident for 31 years, she was owner and administrator at a real estate school.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bernard; three daughters, Nancy Arnett, Marjorie Diorio and Teresa Keyes, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Peter Diorio of Texas and Matthew Diorio of Las Vegas; one brother, Don Purdy of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Roger Aubry Fox
Roger Aubry Fox, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1939, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired newspaper carrier for the Review-Journal and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; one daughter, Kimberly Fruend, and one son, Kevin Laubscher, both of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until a noon service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Gregory Godfrey, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A dealer, he was born Sept. 28, 1958, in New Jersey.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lullmnn of Palm City, Fla.; and his father, Howard Keith Godfrey of Florida.

Raymond Guglielmi
Raymond Guglielmi, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 18, 1914, in North Arlington, N.J. A resident for five years, he was a retired police officer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Elaine Corradino of Las Vegas; one son, Raymond Guglielmi of Cedar Grove, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Lois A. Hagood, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born June 11, 1926, in Parkville, Mo. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired bowling alley manager.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Whitney of Vista, Calif., and Lesley Kennedy of Prairie Village, Kan.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Jerry D. Hale, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1944, in Sonoma, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a retired jewelry buyer.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; one son, Richard Glenn of Las Vegas; three daughters, Laura Bennett of Ripon, Calif., Lynnette Parker of Reno and Lisa Hale of Modesto, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Kelly Jordan Hill, 13, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 2, 1990, in Las Vegas. She was a student at Johnson Junior High School.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Lory Hill, one brother, Josh Hill, and one sister, Taylor Hill, all of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Dorothy Olson of Fargo, N.D.

Rhoberta R. Hirsch, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1915, in Las Vegas. A resident for 58 years, she was a retired waitress at the old El Rancho, Thunderbird and Sahara hotels, a seamstress at the Tropicana hotel and most recently a wardrobe attendant for Siegfried & Roy.
She is survived by one daughter, Phlorene Pheigh, and one son, Roger Hirsch, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Jennie Rosse of Tucson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in California.

E. Wayne Hunter, 54, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born July 7, 1949, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was an automobile sales manager and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon E.; one son, Mike Hunter, and one daughter, Michelle Hunter, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Louise Hunter of Palos Hills, Ill.; two sisters, Sharon DeVault of Hometown, Ill., and Jeanette Nilson of Hulett, Wyo.; and three grandchildren.

Evelyn Rose Nadon, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 23, 1927, in Detroit. A resident for five years, she was a retired banker.
She is survived by two sons, Rene M. Nadon of Visalia, Calif., and David J. Nadon of Camarillo, Calif.; three daughters, Kathleen A. Hovious of Las Vegas, Michele Winter of Palmdale, Calif., and Maureen Burggraff of Bloomington, Minn.; one brother, Robert King of Plant City, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dennis Bradley Nevins, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 10, 1944, in Indianapolis. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Circuit City store director and a retired Vietnam War Air Force veteran who served for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marilene B.; two daughters, Catherine Denise Shandle and Kimberly Renee Wasden, his mother, Argie Ruth Nevins, and one sister, Nancy A. Nevins, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Beverly Newton, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1930, in Newton, Kan. A resident for 61 years, she was a retired school crossing guard and a member of the Altar Guild at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; three sons, Thomas Newton and Timothy Newton, both of Las Vegas, and Daniel Newton of Big Bear, Calif.; one daughter, Shauna Tippetts of Las Vegas; three sisters, Helen Foster of Wichita, Kan., and Patricia Deal and Barbara Kelly, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, John; her parents, Priscilla and James Brogan of Las Vegas; one sister, Jamie Delaney, and her grandmother, Edna Shoffner, both of Henderson.

Eric Rahwles, 92, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A retired automotive engineer, he was born Oct. 30, 1911, in Berlin.
He is survived by one son, Robert Rahwles; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

John Schwab Jr., 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Strasburg, N.D. A resident for one year, he was a retired factory machinist and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Tim Schwab of Henderson; one daughter, Angela Boettcher of Las Vegas; two brothers, James Schwab and Lawrence Schwab, both of Strasburg; five sisters, Florence Klein of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Irene Lipp and Antonia Baumgartner, both of Milwaukee, Laverne Feist of Beloit, Wis., and Clara Huber of Mandan, N.D.; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Francine Gariss of Albuquerque; three grandsons, Sidney Gariss of Bosque Farms, N.M., Lee Gariss of Belen, N.M., and Donald Gariss of Arizona; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresita Poisso of Pahrump; one son, Alex Velasco of Carson, Calif.; four sisters, Leticia Borras of Seattle, Ely Ganadin and Flor De La Cruz, both of the Philippines, and Coring Gonzalez of Cardena, Philippines; one brother, Virgilio De La Cruz of California; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
