Senior center will host classes
The West Flamingo Center for Active Adults 50 and up, sponsored by Clark County Parks & Community Services, is offering a variety of classes that begin the week of Jan. 5.
Registration is now under way. Some classes may require students purchase supplies and/or books. Adults under age 50 may register one week prior to the class start date.
Among the classes are beginning Spanish, bridge lessons and various exercise sessions. Call 455-7742.
Henderson seniors plan luncheon
The Henderson Senior Center, 27 E. Texas Ave., is hosting its annual holiday luncheon from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Seniors are encouraged to bring their family and friends to the event, which will include a complete holiday meal, music and entertainment.
Admission is free. Call 267-4150.
