Eugene Harold Anderson
Eugene Harold Anderson, 69, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. A lather, he was born Dec. 7, 1934.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one daughter, Gina (Anderson) Davenport of Henderson; and three sons, Edward Anderson, Kevin Anderson and Mike Anderson.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Leah Borsky
Leah Borsky, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1910, in Manchester, England. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired secretary for the U.S. Postal Service and a volunteer for University Medical Center.
Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Janice Lucinda Carter
Janice Lucinda Carter, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 28, 1950, in Indiana. A resident for four years, she was a packager for a manufacturing company.
She is survived by one son, Lane Pierre Carter; two sisters, Sherry Mott of Las Vegas and Dorothy Lowe of New York; two brothers, Kenneth Finnley of Connecticut and Rodney Mott of Las Vegas; and one grandson.
No local services are scheduled. A memorial service will be held in Buffalo, N.Y. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Evelyn R. Collier
Evelyn R. Collier, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 16, 1925, in Illinois. A resident for five years, she was a customer service representative in the banking industry.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; one son, Rickie Seroski of Illinois; two daughters, Candace McLernon of Las Vegas and Melody Shaw of Illinois; one sister, Shirley Meagher of Florida; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Tuesday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will be private.
Vontrell D. Davis
Vontrell D. Davis, 21, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was born Aug. 3, 1982, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by one daughter, TaLiba Cotton, one son, Arzjon Davis, his mother, Gail M. Davis, his father, Robert Stewart, one brother, Ronnie McKinzey, and one sister, Brittney Blanche, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Earstine Thompson of Chicago.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Evelyn Eggen
Evelyn Eggen, 93, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 25, 1910, in Los Angeles. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Daylite chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Starlight Shrine No. 1 and Daughters of the Nile.
She is survived by two sons, Dale Eggen of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Eric Eggen of Virginia City; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
The family suggests donations to the First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
Edith Ershler
Edith Ershler, 97, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 27, 1906, in Germany. A resident for nine years, she was a retired insurance secretary.
She is survived by one niece, Lillian Mandel of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Los Angeles. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Patricia Fiorito
Patricia Fiorito, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 20, 1933, in Massachusetts. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired casino change person.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Francis Fiorito and Wayne Brian Fiorito; and one daughter, Maureen Lee Fiorito; and one sister, Dorothy B. Rose.

Lorin Herreid
Lorin Herreid, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Montana. A resident for 27 years, he was an in-house carpenter for a local hospital and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie; his mother, Nadine Herreid; two sons; four daughters; one brother; one sister; and three grandchildren.

Doris L. Holly
Doris L. Holly, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born April 7, 1935, in Rule, Texas. A resident for 42 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Dixon.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Cox of Las Vegas; one son, Kim Holly of Henderson; one sister, Wanda Marquis of Graham, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
R.F. 'Frank' Ivy
R.F. "Frank" Ivy, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Earlington, Ky. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired Air Force flight line mechanic, a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Masons and Shriners.
He is survived by his companion, Jo Barkman, and one daughter, Cheryl Riggs, both of Las Vegas; one son, Eric Anderson of Palm Springs, Calif.; one sister, Loel Grahm of Madisonville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mark S. Langston, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 24, 1949, in Tampa, Fla. A resident for 16 years, he was a bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Lee Langston of Denver and Brent Langston of Las Vegas; one daughter, Carla Langston, and his mother, Dolores Langston, both of Las Vegas.

Stanley Lewis Levine
Stanley Lewis Levine, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 17, 1940, in New York. A resident for 26 years, he was a bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three sons, Kenneth Levine, Robert Levine and Terry Levine; one brother, Gary Levine; and one grandchild.

Thomas Matthew
Thomas Matthew, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 18, 1931, in New York. A resident for seven years, he was a retired Navy veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Merritt Graham, Thomas A. Graham and Michael E. Graham; one daughter, Christine Graham; and five grandchildren.

Gertrude 'Trudy' McDonald
Gertrude "Trudy" McDonald, 97, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born May 18, 1906, in Las Vegas. A resident for 60 years, she was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Relief Society.
She is survived by one daughter, Irene Rostine, and one son, James Scholl, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Grace Williams of Ahoskie, N.C.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one reat-great-grandchild.

Rita Mary Purcello, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 25, 1927, in Metairie, La. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Philip; one daughter, Rita, and three sons, Philip, Joe and Robert, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Martha Legendre; and one brother, Christian Lotz.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

David Roberson, 49, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 12, 1954, in Aurora, Colo. A resident for 30 years, he owned a landscaping business.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two sons, Scott Roberson and Michael Roberson, and one daughter, Hope Roberson, all of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Kenneth W. Sauder, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 1, 1921, in Gridley, Kan. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired representative for a food manufacturer, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Janiece; one daughter, Candy Sauder of Phoenix; one son, Steven Sauder of Mount Charleston; and three sisters, Ernestine Shupe of Wichita, Kan., and Harriet Hartman and Julie Vieg, both of Overland Park, Kan.

LeRoy Slocum
LeRoy Slocum, 68, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 5, 1935, in McCloud, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a retired postal supervisor, a paratransit driver and a member of the Snow Birds Bowling League.
He is survived by his wife, Joni; one daughter, Linda Slocum of Florida; two sons, Glenn Slocum of Sacramento and Larry Slocum of Pittsburg, Calif.; one sister, Lorene Natt of McCloud; one brother, Clarence Slocum of Portland, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Karen M. Stringfield, 60, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 12, 1943, in Michigan. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired food server for a local casino.
She is survived by three sisters, Ginny Kochan of Las Vegas and Mickey Basch and Annette Moschelli, both of Michigan.

Charles Edward Whaley, 32, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 7, 1971, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by one son, Jorneal Whaley, his parents, Charles and Earnestine Whaley, two sisters, Claudette Mason Whaley and Patricia Boyd, and his grandparents, Nathaniel and Annie M. Whaley and Marylene King, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 1-5 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Carl Kevin Wheat
Carl Kevin Wheat, 50, of Genoa died Dec. 13 in Genoa. He was born Aug. 26, 1953, in Superior, Mont. A former Henderson resident, he was a 1972 graduate of Basic High School, worked in construction, was a juvenile probation officer, was former director of the China Spring Youth Camp and a member of the Genoa Volunteer Fire department.
He is survived by one son, Colton James Wheat of Gardnerville; two brothers, Mike Wheat of Bozeman, Mont., and David Wheat of Pocatello, Idaho; two sisters, Kathy McCormick of Sparks and Susan Jackson of Bozeman.

Gladys M. White
Gladys M. White, 86, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 9, 1917, in Fairbury, Ill. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired Basic High School teacher.
She is survived by four nieces; and one nephew.
