Motorola names chairman

Motorola Inc., the world's second-largest maker of mobile telephones, named former Sun Microsystems Inc. President Edward Zander as chairman and chief executive to replace Christopher Galvin. Motorola passed over President Mike Zafirovski, the other finalist for the job.
