Letter: Work of CCSD’s music teachers truly appreciated

Over the course of the past few months, it has been both my honor and privilege to attend several musical concerts featuring Clark County students at all levels of the education system, including high school, community college and university students.

These cultural events have demonstrated to me that not only are our students performing at very high levels musically, but that equally important our city benefits from the numerous educators in the various music departments in the Clark County School District who work tirelessly to teach and develop the musical gifts or their students.

So let's all give thanks to the many underrated and unappreciated musical educators that our town is so blessed to have in this community, and the many musically gifted students they are teaching.
