Leonor S. Gonzales

Leonor S. Gonzales, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1930, in San Antonio, N.M. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Viola Gonzales, Lilian Bean and Mona G., and two sons, Conrad Gonzales and Leo Gonzales, all of Las Vegas; five sisters, Edwina Figueroa, Dorothy Martinez, Frances Garcia and Connie Sanchez, all of New Mexico, and Sesaria Testa of California; two brothers, Ray Sanchez of New Mexico and Armando Sanchez of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Grapevine Fellowship, 2323 S. Nellis Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Vivian Gail Hackney

Vivian Gail Hackney, 85, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Pahrump. A waitress, she was born March 23, 1918, in Kentucky.

She is survived by four brothers, Gordon Hackney, Paul Hackney, George Hackney and Roger Hackney, all of Texas; and one niece, Tracee Hashimura of Las Vegas.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

Lawrence Theodore Heisz III

Lawrence Theodore Heisz III, 25, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 2, 1978, in Beloit, Wis. A resident for 20 years, he was a 1997 Las Vegas High School graduate.

He is survived by parents, Shirley and Lawrence Heisz II, one sister, Christy Silva, and one half-sister, Mary Heisz, all of Wisconsin; his grandparents, James and Lorraine Buskee of Las Vegas and Lawrence T. Heisz I of Wisconsin; and his great-grandmother, Kathryn Buskee of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the LDS Pecos and Osage chapel. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy L. Holloway

Dorothy L. Holloway, 66, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Mississippi. A resident for 33 years, she was a hotel food server.

She is survived by three daughters, Sabrina Dixon of South Carolina and Jeannetta Dixon and Wendy Smith, both of North Las Vegas; three brothers, Levester Wallace of South Carolina, Tommy Lee Wallace of Mississippi and Chester Duckworth of North Las Vegas; four sisters, Charlene of Chicago and Bette Davis, Corine Kelly and Eloise Lee, all of Mississippi; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly, 69, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 28, 1934, in Waldport, Ore. A resident for 12 years, he was a real estate broker and an Army veteran.

He is survived by six daughters, Crystal Evans of South Jordan, Utah, Candace Adams of Taylorsville, Utah, Colette Clay of Louisiana, April Parker of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Robin Kelly of Salt Lake City and Carina Kelly of Pennsylvania; his mother, Mae Kelly of Las Vegas; two brothers, Richard Kelly of Las Vegas and Clifford Kelly of Del Mar, Calif.; one sister, Linda Foster of Tahlequah, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the LDS Pylora Ward. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jade Michael Kilmer

Jade Michael Kilmer, 10, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 1993, in Las Vegas. He was a fifth grader at Priest Elementary School.

He is survived by his father, Robert Kilmer, his mother, Deborah Canova, and two sisters, Brooklyn Canova and Lili Kilmer, all of North Las Vegas; two stepbrothers, PJ Demasseo and Michael Wolfe, both of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Robert and Ruth Kilmer of Las Vegas and Diane Canova of California.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Gateway Baptist Church, 1900 Gateway Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

William F. Lentz

William F. Lentz, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Fort Collins, Colo. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired civil engineer for a land developer, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of Sun City Security Patrol.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie L.; one daughter, Bobbi Nichols of Sandy, Utah; one son, Karl Lentz of Vallejo, Calif.; one brother, Robert Lentz of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Stephanie Loeffler

Stephanie Loeffler, 81, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born July 27, 1922, in Yugoslavia. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Don; two sons, Steve Loeffler of San Jose, Calif., and Kurt Loeffler of Oakland, Calif.; one daughter, Donna Spirlin of San Francisco; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

David S. Manley

David S. Manley, 29, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1973, in Honolulu. A resident for three years, he was a smog tech.

He is survived by one son, Blaine Manley, his companion, Annette Kinney, and his father, Blaine F. Manley, all of Las Vegas; and his mother, Mi Tae Cha Manley of Kahului, Hawaii.

Fran R. McCullough

Fran R. McCullough, 49, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Alabama. A resident for 31 years, she was a casino floor person.

She is survived by one son, Lemont McCullough of Las Vegas; one brother, Nick McCullough of Alabama; two sisters, Frances McCullough and Ilene McCullough, both of Mississippi; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Duncan 'Rocky' Robertson

Duncan "Rocky" Robertson, 58, of Las Vegas died Oct. 16 in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1945, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired longtime groundskeeper for Palm Memorial Parks and worked at the Best Western Main Street and Washington Avenue.

He is survived by children and friends.

Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Shirley Scott

Shirley Scott, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 18, 1936, in Ahoskie, N.C. A resident for 21 years, she was a casino cashier.

She is survived by one son, Thaddeus Scott of Harrellsville, N.C.; one brother, George Harrell of Inglewood, Calif.; and one grandson.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Stephen D. Stevens

Stephen D. Stevens, 40, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 16, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a sheet metal worker for an air-conditioning company and a member of Local 88.

He is survived by his companion, Patty Huffine of Henderson; his parents, Donna and Paul Stevens of Summit, Utah; one brother, David Ray Stevens of Henderson; and his grandfather, Donald P. Burroughs of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Virginia Mae Yanda

Virginia Mae Yanda, 80, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for three years, she was a retired clothing distributor.

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth R. Johnson of Las Vegas; one son, Everett J. Yanda of Casper, Wyo.; her mother, Eulalia Tucker, and one brother, Thomas Tucker, both of Dothan, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
