YellowPages.com Inc., an online directory in Henderson, has sued a similar website and that site's Internet service providers alleging false advertising and unfair competition.
The suit was filed in California against www.yellovvpages.com (with two v's in place of a w), its alleged owner Bob Grover of the United Kingdom, Monaco-based www.only.com, which allegedly provides content for the website, and its two alleged Internet service providers, New York-based INYC Corp. and Denver-based Net Infrastructure Corp.
YellowPages.com alleges that www.yellovvpages.com purports to offer business directory services using a trademark and domain name "confusingly similar" to the YellowPages.com trademark.
