William C. Blazek

William C. Blazek, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Boulder City. He was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Wisconsin. A resident for 56 years, he was a retired automobile mechanic and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth; three sons, Charles Blazek of Arizona, Bernard Blazek of Wisconsin and Dean Blazek of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Adina Blazek of Las Vegas; one brother, Harold Blazek of Wisconsin; two sisters, Violet Blazek of Wisconsin and Beatrice Schwartz of California; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Maurita Jean Brenske

Maurita Jean Brenske, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Minneapolis. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired civil service club director, a member of the Air Force Retired Officers Wives Club and the Las Vegas Mesquite Club.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Osborne and John Osborne, both of Costa Rica, and William Brenske of Henderson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Matthew Lee Clay

Matthew Lee Clay, 34, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 5, 1969, in California. A resident for three years, he was a maintenance worker for a local casino.

He is survived by his father, Jimmie D. Clay; his mother, Lois Clay; his stepmother, Henrietta Clay; his stepfather, Jesse Zepedra; one brother, Joseph Frank Clay; and one sister, Suzanne Marie Clay.

Barbara Kay Bennett Dennison

Barbara Kay Bennett Dennison, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Minnesota. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Lana Futch of Las Vegas and Denise Bennett of California; one brother, Dale Isenburg of Alaska; two sisters, Bonnie Faulker of California and Wrayanne Huddleston of Yermo, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Leah Fugal Huntsman Dingle

Leah Fugal Huntsman Dingle, 90, of Las Vegas died Dec. 3 in Reno. She was born Aug. 10, 1913, in Utah. A resident for 66 years, she was a retired food service employee for the Clark County School District's lunch program.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Conner and Constance Decker, both of Las Vegas, and Marilyn Whisler of Sparks; three sons, Kent Huntsman of Springville, Utah, and Dennis Huntsman and Richard Huntsman, both of Cedar City, Utah; 24 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Eighth and Franklin chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Sidney I. Grossman

Sidney I. Grossman, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A retailer, he was born Sept. 1, 1920, in California.

He is survived by his wife, Esther.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

John David Hanten

John David Hanten, 57, of Henderson died Nov. 30 in Henderson. A merchant seaman and Vietnam War veteran, he was born Oct. 3, 1946.

He was preceded in death by one brother, William Hanten.

He is survived by one brother, Daniel Hanten of Gilroy, Calif.; and one sister, Rosy Hanten of Reno.

Marc Hoffman, 27, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 17, 1976, in Las Vegas. A resident for 27 years, he was a restaurant manager.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Maureen and John Morrissey; one brother, Robert; and two sisters, Susan and Marci.

Frank O. Jensen, 20, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 14, 1934, in Wisconsin. A resident for 20 years, he was disabled.

Ervin L. Kraft, 70, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 28, 1933, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for 24 years, he was self-employed in the automotive industry.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; two sons, Jonathan Kraft of Burke, Va., and Joseph Kraft of San Diego; one brother, Earl Kraft, and two sisters, Freda Whittington and Johanna Alles, all of Lincoln; and two grandchildren.

Buzz William Kuchlenz

Buzz William Kuchlenz, 51, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A surveillance person in the gaming industry, he was born July 7, 1952, in San Francisco.

He is survived by one sister, Candace Leonard of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one uncle, Jack Kuchlenz of San Francisco.

Lester B. Lowry

Lester B. Lowry, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 13, 1911, in Indiana. A resident for four years, he was an owner-operator of a carpet cleaning company, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Edna A.; three sons, Justin C. Lowry, Philip M. Lowry and Joseph L. Lowry; three daughters, Rosanne M. Stewart, Mary J. Lowry and Linda B. Kieper; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m.-noon Saturday at Warm Springs Baptist Church, 2075 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas.

Eva G. Morin, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A schoolteacher, she was born July 6, 1941, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her husband, Juan.

Robert H. Nelson

Robert H. Nelson, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1953, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for more than 20 years, he was a slot machine repair technician.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; one son, Walter C. Nelson, and one stepson, Dominic D. Casolaro, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Community Church, 2900 N. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

F. Barbara Nygard

F. Barbara Nygard, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Philadelphia. A resident for six years, she was a hospital operating room nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one daughter, Kirsten Nygard Evans of Las Vegas; two sons, John Nygard of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Keith Nygard of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Stephanie Ryan, and two brothers, Thomas James and Stephen James, all of Philadelphia; and one granddaughter.

Pauline Dorothy Raysser

Pauline Dorothy Raysser, 98, of North Las Vegas died Dec. 3 in a local care center. She was born July 9, 1905, in Schroon Lake, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for truck builders.

She is survived by one granddaughter, Sharon Matin of North Las Vegas; one grandson, Rick Raysser of Banning, Calif.; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Gerald E. Rogers

Gerald E. Rogers, 45, of Las Vegas died Monday in in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 9, 1958, in Rapid City, S.D. A resident for four years, he was a carpenter, an Army veteran and a member of the Rosebud Sioux tribe.

He is survived by two sons, Eric Rogers and Jeffery Rogers; his mother, Carole Rogers; four brothers, Bob Rogers, Bill Rogers, Chris Rogers and Tim Rogers; and three sisters, Theresa Fortune, Danielle Fowler and Jennifer Gabe.

Dorothy K. Teodoro

Dorothy K. Teodoro, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 30, 1922, in California. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Eddie Teodoro and Mariano T. Teodoro Jr., both of Las Vegas, and John E. Teodoro of California; one daughter, Tina D. Gaughan of Las Vegas; two sisters, Martha Sato of Las Vegas and Betty Oka of California; three brothers, Jimmy Komatsubara, Nobe Kitada and Ted Kitada; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

William J. Tomanini

William J. Tomanini, 45, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1957, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 28 years, he was a tile and marble setter and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, William Joseph Tomanini, one daughter, Roxanne C. Tomanini, and two stepdaughters, Leann Fitzwater and Shawna Hunt, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Richard N. Tomanini, Louis J. Tomanini and Joseph A. Tomanini, all of Las Vegas, and David P. Tomanini of Woonsocket, R.I.; two sisters, Debra Sylvestre of Woonsocket and Gloria H. Andreachi of Stillwater, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Cleo Yeager

Cleo Yeager, 87, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Oklahoma. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired casino manager and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Gary Thorp of Corcoran, Calif.; one brother, Robert Short; one sister, Lena Lemmons; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be noon Monday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
