Some post offices will be open Sunday
The U.S. Postal Service, expecting a flood of holiday mail, has extended hours at several stations throughout the Las Vegas Valley this weekend.
The main post office at 1001 E. Sunset Road, as well as the Summerlin, North Las Vegas Meadows Mesa and Henderson Valle Verde station will be open Sunday. The main office will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the others noon to 4 p.m.
Other selected stations will have extended hours Saturday and the eight Post Office Express offices in Albertson's stores will be open Saturday and Sunday.
SCORE to offer business seminar
The Las Vegas Chapter of Service Corps of Retired Executives will present its seminar "How to Start Your Own Business" at 9 a.m. Thursday at the City Centre Building, 400 S. Fourth St., Suite 250A.
SCORE counselors will cover marketing, cash flow, the business plan and check list for licensing, permits and other requirements.
