CALABASAS, Calif:
Home builder The Ryland Group Inc. said it will begin building and selling homes in the Las Vegas area and California's Inland Empire. In Las Vegas, Ryland owns more than 700 lots and will begin selling homes in five communities in 2004.
PARK PLACE ENTERTAINMENT CORP.:
The company, based in Las Vegas, today unveiled a "Caesars Entertainment MasterCard" offering rewards to loyal customers of Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo and Grand Casinos resorts. The Caesars-branded MasterCard will be issued by Juniper Bank of Wilmington, Del. On Jan. 6, Park Place plans to change its name to Caesars Entertainment Inc.
