Della June Bates
Della June Bates, 91, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born June 25, 1912, in West Point, Ind. A resident for one year, she was a retired assistant city building inspector for the city government.
She is survived by two sons, James S. Bates of Las Vegas and Norman Fidler of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Keith Bayne
Keith Bayne, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1958, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a Western High School graduate and a three-year letterman in football, soccer and baseball. He attended Dixie Junior College in St. George, Utah, and was a paint salesman for 20 years, most recently at Frazee Paint. From 1982-1996, he was a third baseman and "excellent hitter" for the Las Vegas Hitmen, a fast-pitch softball team.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; four children, Sterling, Keaton, Hunter and Harrison (Pooper); his parents, Barbara and J.K. Bayne; three brothers, Steve of Tonopah and Bruce and Kenny, both of Las Vegas; six aunts and uncles; and 11 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road. A graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Barbara Berry
Barbara Berry, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 7, 1938, in Wayne County, Miss. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter, Debbie Lopez of Las Vegas; her mother, Annie Taylor of Laurel, Miss.; two brothers, Ralph Taylor of Jackson, Miss., and Sonny Taylor of Laurel; two sisters, Lucy Bramlett of Houma, La., and Annette Amendola of Laurel; and three grandchildren.

Amelia Jaramillo Crespin
Amelia Jaramillo Crespin, 73, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Las Vegas, N.M. A resident for 52 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeping supervisor.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Dittmer and Olympia Martinez, and two sons, Joe Crespin and Victor Jaramillo, all of Henderson; and three grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7 tonight in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Martha F. Daly
Martha F. Daly, 87, of Las Vegas died Nov. 26 in a local hospital. She was born March 31, 1916, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired office manager.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet D. Duhaney of North Las Vegas; one sister, Edith Parker of Florida; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
Services and burial will be in New Jersey. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Jack L. Davis
Jack L. Davis, 73, of Henderson died Friday in a local health care center. He was born Dec. 7, 1929, in Clinton, Mont. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Sherrill Atchley, and one stepson, Robert Schow, both of Henderson; one sister, Tressa M. Prince of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Irene M. Harris
Irene M. Harris, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 1, 1925, in North Dakota. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband, James C. Sr.; three sons, James Jr., John and Gregory; three daughters, Christina, Shirley and Sharon; and eight grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Lila Hughes
Lila Hughes, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Muscatine, Iowa. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired motel manager.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Fritchley of Las Vegas, Teresa Smith of Whitehall, N.Y., and Patricia Royle of Florida; one brother, Robert Bierman of Hemet, Calif.; one sister, Marie Westerman of Muscatine, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Roma Condie Jensen
Roma Condie Jensen, 81, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Preston, Idaho. A resident for 31 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Sally Ann Pettingill of Layton, Utah, Nancy Lee Gregerson of St. George, Utah, and Kathy Guarino of Henderson; three sons, Thomas Jensen of Las Vegas, Dean Jensen of Mesa, Ariz., and Jon Jensen of Ivins, Utah; one sister, Donna Condie of Los Angeles; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Fifth Street chapel, Boulder City. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery.
Amparo Larroza
Amparo Larroza, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 1, 1920, in the Philippines. A resident for two years, she was a retired medical secretary.
She is survived by 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.
Rhoda Elizabeth Manes
Rhoda Elizabeth Manes, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 28, 1929, in Pittsburgh. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd of Banning, Calif.; three daughters, Debora Thomas and Susan Manes, both of Las Vegas, and Brenda Henry of San Marcos, Calif.; two sons, William Manes of Las Vegas and Robert Manes of Trenton, Fla.; one sister, Eilleen Whitfield of Cottontown, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Beter Harold Matthews
Beter Harold Matthews, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. An engineer at University Medical Center and an Army veteran, he was born April 28, 1941, in Alabama.
He is survived by four brothers, Billy Matthews, John Salls, Bob Matthews and Fred Salls; and one sister, Eloise Whitlow.
A memorial service will be 3-4:30 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Alexandra Alice M. Moran
Alexandra Alice M. Moran, 80, of Glendale, Ariz., died Monday in a Glendale hospice. She was born in Chicago. A former Las Vegas resident for 44 years, she was a retired hotel front-desk cashier.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeanne A. Aguirre of Glendale, Patricia Thompson of Salinas, Calif., and Barbara Moran of Las Vegas; two sons, Frank Moran of Los Angeles and Joseph Moran of Salinas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Joseph Paul Okoniewski, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born Sept. 6, 1944, in Binghamton, N.Y. A resident for three years, he was a retired highway patrolman and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Martha and Paul P. Okoniewski Sr. of Las Vegas; and one brother, Paul P. Okoniewski Jr. of Cocoa Beach, Fla.

Bennie R. Paschall
Bennie R. Paschall, 61, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Franklin County, N.C. A resident for 12 years, he was a shop foreman for a heavy equipment maintenance company and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae; two daughters, Gail Paschall of Houston and Gina Paschall of Henderson; his mother and stepfather, Mae and P.W. Knott of Youngsville, N.C.; three sisters, LaRue Perry of Greensboro, N.C., Linda Paschall of Youngsville and Cynthia Paschall of Wake Forest, N.C.; and two brothers, Bobby Paschall of Frederick, Md., and Barney Paschall of Plant City, Fla.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be private.

Mary Pugliese, 83, of North Las Vegas died Saturday. A homemaker, she was born Feb. 6, 1920, in Pittsburgh.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Pugliese of Arvada, Colo., and Richard Pugliese of Las Vegas; one brother, Pete Papanickolas of Banning, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Carlos-Alberto E. Rios
Carlos-Alberto E. Rios, 20, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 8, 1983, in Reno.
He is survived by his parents, Riolita and Carlos Lopez Rios, and three brothers, Manuel Alvarez, Christopher Rios and Eddie Rios, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Leonila Eckerson of Las Vegas, Maria De La Paz Lopez Rios of Mexico and Isidro Rios of Reno.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Roseanna May Louise Bremer Rowlett
Roseanna May Louise Bremer Rowlett, 17, of Sandy Valley died Nov. 25. She was born Dec. 17, 1985, in California. She was a graduate of Keystone Academy in Sandy Valley, a cheerleader, a contributing writer for the Sage Brush newspaper, a member of the volleyball team and the student council.
She is survived by her husband, Danny; her mother, Rhonda Creech of Kansas City, Mo.; her father and stepmother, David and Susan Bremer of Union City, Pa.; three brothers, Travis of Missouri, David of Pennsylvania and Kevin of Phoenix; and one sister, Kim of Phoenix.

Mildred E. Warren, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Reno. She was born Jan. 24, 1915, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Emblem Club and Elks of North Las Vegas.
She is survived by two sons, Elden E. "Bill" Warren of North Las Vegas and Bob G. Warren of Las Vegas; one daughter, Elaine Goodale of Winnemucca; 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Virginia E. Whitney
Virginia E. Whitney, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 23, 1923, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for five years, she was a retired grocery store retail clerk.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Bentley of Las Vegas and Patricia A. Whitney of Garden Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Eugene Hall of Naples, Fla., and Ted Hall of Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
