Union merging with CWA

WASHINGTON -- The nation's largest union of flight attendants, citing losses of more than 10,000 members in the past two years, will merge with the Communications Workers of America on Dec. 31.
The Association of Flight Attendants, which represents more than 36,000 attendants at 26 carriers, approved the merger, with 57 percent voting in favor. Just less than half of the membership voted.
