Guinn elected governors’ group vice chairman

CARSON CITY -- Gov. Kenny Guinn has been elected vice chairman of the Republican Governors Association at a meeting in Boca Raton, Fla.
Guinn succeeds Ohio Gov. Bob Taft, who was elected chairman at the meeting the weekend of Nov. 22.
Guinn said he will work with Taft "to help elect more Republican governors and help to re-elect George W. Bush."
