Letter: Why so bothered about gay love?
Friday, Aug. 29, 2003 | 5:49 a.m.
Charles B. Lewis states in his Aug. 27 letter that support for homosexuality is irrational because homosexuality is not a natural part of the human order.
Mr. Lewis is comparing apples to oranges when he states that homosexuality is equivalent to murder and spousal abuse, which are learned behaviors. A "natural part of the human order" would be sexuality, hair color, height and weight.
With so much going on in the world, like famine, disease, illiteracy, homelessness and war, why are there so many people concerned about who I love? To Mr. Lewis, and others of his ilk, I say, "Get a life!"
