Margaret Smith Anderson
Margaret Smith Anderson, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 27, 1915. A resident of 20 years, she was a retired teacher.
She is survived by one son, James; one daughter, Susan; and two sisters, Elle and Lucille.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Leon G. Andrews III
Leon G. Andrews III, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 19, 1954, in Los Angeles. A resident for 25 years, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Lauri; three sons, Leon G. Andrews IV of Wyoming and Richard A. Andrews and Eric A. Andrews, both of Nevada; one daughter, Marcy D. Andrews of Texas; his parents, Joan and Leon G. Andrews Jr. of Wyoming; his grandfather, John DiGregorio of Nevada; and one grandchild.

Ralph A. Bond
Ralph A. Bond, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1938, in Bowman, N.D. A resident for 40 years, he was an architect for Clark County, an Army veteran and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
He is survived by his wife, Diana; and two daughters, Megan Bond and Erin Bond, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Architecture, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.
Poet Master Brooks
Poet Master Brooks, 4 months, of Las Vegas died Aug. 21 in Las Vegas. He was born April 16.
He is survived by his father, Torrey R. Thomas, his mother, Ayesha Brooks, one brother, Torrey R. Thomas II, and two sisters, Surryah Yasmine Brooks and Quierah Lanasia Thomas, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, LaVoise Walters of Rialto, Calif., Theodore R. Thomas of Pomona, Calif., Kim Nicole Freeman of San Bernardino, Calif., and Charles Brooks of Arkansas.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be private.
Claudia J. Daniels
Claudia J. Daniels, 66, of Las Vegas died Aug. 20 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 59 years, she was employed by the Clark County School District and was a member of the Fordyce Club.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Jr.; four daughters, Crystal Daniels, LaTonya Chalmers, Michelle Jackson and Valorie O. Williams, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Marc Daniels of Las Vegas, Les Daniels of New Jersey and Lawrence R. Daniels III of Tallulah, La.; three brothers, Albert K. Jackson, Alfreddie Jackson and Leon Smith, all of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1117 N. F St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Margaret Mary Donohue
Margaret Mary Donohue, 98, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born July 12, 1905, in Maryland. A resident for four years, she was a school system office manager.
She is survived by one son, Patrick; one sister, Anna; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sun City, Ariz. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Thomas Brian Farrell
Thomas Brian Farrell, 45, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 10, 1958, in Oak Park, Ill. A resident for 14 years, he was a food service manager.
He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Farrell and Krista Farrell, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Virginia Farrell of Norridge, Ill., and Thomas F. Farrell of Chicago; and one sister, Susan Farrell-Hermann of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. A private burial will follow.
Ellen Victoria Jones Griffin
Ellen Victoria Jones Griffin, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 21, 1945, in Los Angeles. A resident for 50 years, she was a saleswoman in the food industry.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Johnny B.; two sons, Troy Jones Griffin and Lance William Griffin, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Judith Cushman of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Perry Ethellen Harbin
Perry Ethellen Harbin, 84, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Molin of Boulder City and Jeanette Rowe of Plainfield, Ill.; two sisters, Christeen Holt of Everman, Texas, and Mamie Dill of Cleburne, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming St., Boulder City. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, Boulder City, is handling arrangements.
Walter J. Harter
Walter J. Harter, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A retired truck driver, he was born July 10, 1939, in Cleveland.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Tammy Kirby of Flower Mound, Texas, and Renee Hurayt of Las Vegas; four sons, Gregory Harter of Macedonia, Ohio, Dean Harter of North Royalton, Ohio, and Chris Hurayt and Ryan Hurayt, both of Las Vegas; and two granddaughters.

John I. Hummel
John I. Hummel, 73, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. He was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Queens, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired bread company route driver and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Jackie Hummel of Simi Valley, Calif.; one son, John E. Hummel of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; one brother, Leonard Hummel of Henderson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Marie D. Jensen, 69, of Las Vegas died Aug. 20 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in New York. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Augostino, John and Joseph; three daughters, Adele Marfoglia, Joiena Garganese and Ann Marie Tutino; two brothers, John and Frank; and 11 grandchildren.

Merlin Roger Jueneman
Merlin Roger Jueneman, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A pharmacist, an Air Force veteran and a member of the Sun City Summerlin billiard club, he was born Aug. 18, 1931.
He is survived by his wife, Jocelyne; one daughter, Lynette Jueneman-Wbarrondo; two brothers, Donald Jueneman and Richard Jueneman; and one sister, Karen Hamman.

James Kay
James Kay, 34, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1969, in Santa Ana, Calif. A resident for 12 years, he was a retail manager.
He is survived by his fiancee, Jane Schuette of Las Vegas; his mother, Louanne Sandoval of Reno; two brothers, Robert Kay of Madison, Wis., and Joseph Sandoval of Reno; and his grandmother, Mary Milstead of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Marty Shawn Robb
Marty Shawn Robb, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1961, in Oklahoma. A resident for 40 years, he was a construction laborer.
He is survived by his parents, Gerl and Lavada Jo Robb; one brother, D. Shane Robb; and two sisters, Tami Foutz and Rhonda Sanchez.

Linda C. Rockey
Linda C. Rockey, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 3, 1944, in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, she was a retired medical assistant and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Santa Monica, Calif.
She is survived by one sister, Janice L. Harris of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Viola Reeves Ullrich
Viola Reeves Ullrich, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Liberty Hill, Texas. A resident for more than 50 years, she was a retired hotel PBX operator and a member of Black Mountain Country Club.
She is survived by her husband, Vern; two daughters, Pam Erickson and Vicki Rudolph, both of Henderson; two brothers, Robert Henson of Okmulgee, Okla., and Dick Henson of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be private.
Barry Lynn Voorhees
Barry Lynn Voorhees, 39, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 7, 1963, in Sidney, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a football player.

Carin Wilson
Carin Wilson, 64, of Las Vegas died Aug. 20 in Las Vegas. She was born April 2, 1939, in Washington state. A resident for three years, she owned an interior design firm.
She is survived by one daughter, Stacy Brewer; her mother, Dolores Green; and one sister, Norine Bell.

Barbara S. Ziferstein
Barbara S. Ziferstein, 92, of Las Vegas died Aug. 17 in Los Angeles. She was born June 23, 1911, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker, a published short-story writer, a pianist who led the sing-a-longs at Montara Meadows and a community activist.
She is survived by one son, Dan of Los Angeles; one daughter, Gail of Holland; and three grandchildren.

Gregorio P. Zuniga
Gregorio P. Zuniga, 82, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 25, 1921, in Harlingen, Texas. A resident for more than 40 years, he was a retired civil service packer/crater and a eucharistic minister of St. Christopher Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; four daughters, Olivia Roybal, Janie Triplett, Lolly Jones and Delia Zuniga, and three sons, Greg "Tito" Zuniga, Bobby Zuniga and Ricky Zuniga, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Leandra Zapata of Saginaw, Mich., and Maria Huerta of Harlingen; three brothers, Jesus Zuniga of North Las Vegas, Jose Zuniga of Harlingen and Juan Zuniga of Corpus Christy, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today with a 5 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
