Letter: Business greed hurting America

One of the reasons so many people are unemployed or on relief is because big business has moved into countries like China, where they can make bigger profits by hiring people for low pay and no benefits.

These companies have deserted America simply for money. They don't have to pay Americans a decent wage or fulfill other legal obligations that are fair and just for our workers.

This is America but it is not the America that made us great, where the entrepreneurs and inventors built businesses and factories with their technological skills and their work ethics. Today big business is even selling its technology overseas and one day, maybe tomorrow, we will reap the devastating effects of that.

Many college graduates cannot get jobs in businesses because the jobs they trained for have been sent overseas simply for more money.

When will enough money be enough for these big businesses? We need to get back to what made this country great.
