Potter lifts retailer’s results

NEW YORK -- Barnes & Noble Inc., the nation's largest bookseller, today said profit for its latest quarter rose, helped by the launch of the new Harry Potter title and Hillary Clinton's book.
Barnes & Noble said it earned $13.7 million, or 20 cents a share, for the second quarter.
