What has President Bush and his administration brought to our nation? Words like economy, failing school systems, war deaths, and failing international relations race through my mind. I struggle to find any positive words, although you hear people saying his strong positions on certain things is good and therefore that makes him a good president.
A few of the statistics that I watch are the increasing number of war dead, the rising price of gas, the growing unemployment numbers, the number of states struggling to balance their budgets and the growing national debt. There must be only a few of us looking at these statistics. Surely others must be deeply concerned. The masses must be dazzled by Bush's oratory. For what other reason would he still have plus approval ratings.
The words from a song keep running through my head -- "Another day older and deeper in debt."
