Casino revenue declines

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Colorado casino revenue declined 4.5 percent in July compared with the same month a year ago, falling $2.9 million to $61.7 million in adjusted gross proceeds.
Black Hawk's 22 casinos accounted for $43.9 million or 71.2 percent of the statewide adjusted gross proceeds, or gaming win, up from $41.9 million in June but down from $46.6 million the previous July.
Cripple Creek's 17 casinos accounted for $13.2 million or 21.5 percent of the total, up from $12.4 million in June but down from $13.5 million last year.
Central City's five casinos had $4.5 million or 7.3 percent of the total, up from $4.3 million June and unchanged from last year.
