Nominations due for Peacemakers

Mediators of Southern Nevada will be accepting nominations through Friday for the 2003 Peacemaker of the Year awards.

The annual award recognizes people who have brought peace to the lives of others or have advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution in the state.

Nominations may be in any of these categories: business, community, court, family, youth, organizations and professional/volunteer mediator.

The awards will be presented at the Peacemakers of the Year annual dinner Sept. 18 at Texas Station.

The public is invited to nominate individuals or organizations and must turn in the nomination forms no later than Friday. Forms are available on the MSN website (www.mediatorsonv.com) or by calling 631-2790.
