Camp would enrich youth’s experience

A mother would like her 11-year-old to go to camp for the first time this year.
The single mother of two says that Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are the only extracurricular activities her children are involved in because she receives no child support and cannot afford others.
She would like "a wonderful opportunity for him to explore, learn, share and grow with other boys his age," she writes.
The Sun Summer Camp Fund has made that wish possible.
Sometimes simple things, such as toasting marshmallows and singing around the campfire and spending time around camp counselors who are positive role models are the memories that a child will carry with her through the rest of her life.
By joining contributors to the Sun Camp Fund you are making a difference in a child's life.
