Charles Dean Bridges
Charles Dean Bridges, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Newport News, Va. He was born April 4, 1938, in Oklahoma. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired postal worker, a retired Air Force veteran who served for 20 years and was a member of the National Postal Mail Handlers Local 303.
He is survived by one daughter, Lisa J. DeMallie of Montana; two sons, Charles D. Bridges II of North Carolina and Mark G. Bridges of Virginia; one brother, Don Bridges of California; three sisters, Sue DeBerger of Nevada and Sharon Guzman and Vickie Aguiniga, both of California; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Stanton Brown Sr.
Stanton Brown Sr., 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Wellsville, N.Y. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired retail manager and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; two sons, Stanton Brown Jr. of Fort Jackson, S.C., and Steven Brown of Las Vegas; two daughters, Laura Fattig of Arlington, Texas, and Deborah Lucksted of Mansfield, Texas; three sisters, Dorothy, Betty and Janice, all of New York state; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
William F. Conroy
William F. Conroy, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Evergreen Park, Ill. A resident for 12 years, he was a salesman in the publication industry.
He is survived by his wife, Alice L.; one son, Matthew Conroy, and one daughter, Molly Conroy, both of Las Vegas; his parents, William A. and Bette Conroy of Park Forest, Ill.; and four sisters, Laura Klen of Orland Park, Ill., Janet Coleman of Crete, Ill., Connie Karr of St. Louis and Amy Conroy of Kona, Hawaii.
Visitation is scheduled 5:30 p.m. until an 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Patricia Ann McDaniel Crabtree
Patricia Ann McDaniel Crabtree, 48, of Boulder City died Thursday in Boulder City. She was born July 15, 1954, in Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 15 years, she was a chef and a member of the board of directors of LaDolce Vita Association.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; her mother, Betty McDaniel, and one son, Matthew Ray Efauk, both of Boulder City; and one brother, Michael McDaniel of California.

Kathleen Denison
Kathleen Denison, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Cornwall On Hudson, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith Sullivan of Henderson; one son, Tim Beeson of Manitou Springs, Colo.; one stepson, Richard Denison of Toronto; one stepdaughter, Andrea Denison of Winnipeg, Manitoba; one brother, Charles Slater of Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Joan C. Ferry, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Georgeanne Schroeder of Frankfurt, Ill.; three sons, Thomas Ferry Jr. of Port Washington, Wis., and Timothy Ferry and James Ferry, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ann Jewell of Chicago and Sonja Gibbs of New York state; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in The Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 W. Sahara Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Jeanie Fitzpatrick, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 30, 1931, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Donald L.; one son, Rick Fitzpatrick of Hemet, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Paul Corky Galvan, 47, of Boulder City died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1956, in Mojave, Calif. A resident for six years, he was a painting contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie; five daughters, Jaymee Lee Galvan, Alyssa Galvan, Erica Galvan and Corinne Dykstra, all of Boulder City, and Nicole Henson of Texas; one sister, Pamela Galvan of California; and two grandchildren.

Norris Thomas 'Tom' Gaylor III
Norris Thomas "Tom" Gaylor III, 50, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A supervisor in the electrical industry, he was born Jan. 23, 1953, in Kingman, Ariz.
He is survived by his wife, Jaynee; one son, Shane Brian Gaylor of Seattle; three daughters, Kimberly Lynn Rhude of Henderson, Amber Louise Smith of Las Vegas and Jaymie Hutzen-Biler of Montana; one brother, Danny Gaylor of Florida; two sisters, Cindy Johnston of Reno and Sally Holt of Boulder City; his father, Norris Thomas Gaylor II; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church, 609 E. Horizon Drive, Henderson. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Robert J. Gross
Robert J. Gross, 70, of Blue Diamond died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 8, 1932, in Boston. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired truck driver and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, two daughters, Laurie Gezzer and Lela Maxwell, one son, Joe Elliott, and his brother, John Gross, all of California; four sisters, Agnes Goe, Jean Tipton and Dorothy Cox, all of California, and Grace Davis of Indiana; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert G. Hutchinson, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 23, 1922, in Mountain City, Tenn. A resident for 31 years, he was a project manager for the Department of Energy and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; three sons, John Milks, Raymond Smith and Douglas Carlson, and one daughter, Jonea Milks, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Jim Hutchinson, and one sister, Jane Hutchinson, both of Shady Valley, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sylvan T. Lasell, 94, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. He was born Dec. 27, 1908, in Waubay, S.D. A resident for many years, he was a financier, a member of Boulder City Senior Center and an Army veteran.
A graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.
Winifred L. McCredy
Winifred L. McCredy, 99, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 12, 1903, in Washington state. A resident for 33 years, she was a school administrator and a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years and a past worthy matron.
She is survived by one daughter, Harriet M. Manuel; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be in Washington state. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Claudette Mary Jo Ann Young Noyes
Claudette Mary Jo Ann Young Noyes, 66, of Gold Beach, Ore., died March 18 in Brookings, Ore. A former Las Vegas resident, she was an electrolysis practitioner, a former royal matron of Las Vegas Court 3, Order of the Amaranth, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem, Starlight Chapter 1 of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; three daughters, Pamela Lorentz of Boulder City, Camille Wegner of North Las Vegas and Gwendolyn Draper of Clear Lake, Calif.; one sister, Anne Eubanks, and one brother, Claude George Young, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Memorial Temple, 220 W. Mesquite Ave. Redwood Memorial Chapel, Brookings, Ore., is handling arrangements.
Ralph H. Oliva
Ralph H. Oliva, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1921, in San Francisco. A resident for 35 years, he was a painting contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; one son, Greg Oliva of California; one daughter, Charlene Fitzharris of Las Vegas; two brothers, Joseph Oliva and Fred Oliva, both of San Francisco; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Bob Otto
Bob Otto, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born June 1, 1918, in Milwaukee. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired chief design engineer for Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, Calif., and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marylyn; one son, Jim Otto of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Kerean Ida Salmon, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born July 19, 1925, in Minnesota. A resident for 24 years, she was a keno writer for Fitzgerald's and a shipyard welder in Alameda, Calif.
She is survived by her husband, Paul R.; two daughters, Nona Gallant of Brainard, Minn., and Karen Jensen of Las Vegas; one son, Edward Salmon of Las Vegas; three sisters, Yvonne Wicktor, Anita Goral and Helen Dee; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Chester 'Bud' Schiffman
Chester "Bud" Schiffman, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 49 years, he owned and operated a laundromat and diaper service, was a member of men's club at Temple Beth Sholom and Sunrise Chapter's Optimist Club.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Schiffman and Larry Schiffman, both of Henderson; one brother, Phillip Schiffman of Hallendale, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Madeline; 12 children; two brothers; one sister; 25 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Stacey D.; one son, Scott Wayne Staggie; one daughter, Regina Marie Staggie; his mother, Chloe Swanson; two brothers, Anthony Roberts and Dee Summers; and four sisters, Elizabeth Fajardo, Lisa Garner, Carolyn Staggie and Leighann Sensenbach.

Richard A. Vaughn, 52, of Sandy Valley died April 22 in Henderson. He was a resident for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Melissa.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one daughter, Laura Browski; one son, Brian; his mother, May; two sisters, Patricia and Linda; three brothers, William, Thomas, Leroy and Jerry; and six grandchildren.

George John Webb
George John Webb, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Beloit, Wis. A resident for eight years, he was a retired health insurance sales representative.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen; two daughters, Mary Ann Webb and Cindi Webb, both of Whittier, Calif.; one son, Jeffrey Webb of Norwalk, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Debra Rathburn of Canada; two sisters, Carol Swearengin of Wildomar, Calif., and Margaret Young of Perris, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Wednesday with a 2 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Dellen Maria Wing
Dellen Maria Wing, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 10, 1926, in Sequim, Wash. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker, former member of the American Legion for 38 years where she served as president of the 11th District in Washington state and the Guy H. Smith Post 126 in Seattle.
She is survived by her husband, Al; two daughters, Connie Demuth of Redmond, Wash., and Pam Iverson of Las Vegas; one son, Ron Wing of Hurricane, W.Va.; one sister, Ellen Byers of Scappoose, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
