Letter: Why hate the Iraqi people?
Tuesday, April 29, 2003 | 9:01 a.m.
Apparently, letter writer Tony DiMaggio and probably a few others who fall into the "anti-war' minions are very unhappy that the liberation of the Iraqi people turned out to be no more than a short battle. Since you also think that some of those who support this act of humanity and sacrifice are not fit to comment because of their profession, I would like to offer this explanation regarding Tiger Woods' opinion versus the Hollywood left.
Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, et. al. are actors who play fake characters in fake roles and work daily in a fake environment.
Tiger Woods. Can you say Stanford? I think he is qualified to have an opinion.
Now, I have a very important question to ask all of you who were (are) against military intervention to liberate the Iraqi people and end Hussein's threats to Middle East security: Why do you hate ... yes, hate ... the Iraqi people so much that you would have made them live one more day under the murderous brutality of one of the most evil men in history? Why?
