Lansing, Mich., flights planned

Allegiant Air, a Las Vegas-based airline, today announced that it will inaugurate flights between Las Vegas and Lansing's Capital City Airport in Lansing, Mich., on July 10.
The carrier will use 161-seat MD-83 aircraft on the route, which initially will operate Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. Allegiant Vacations, the airline's vacation company, is offering packages with rooms at 18 Las Vegas hotels.
Allegiant already offers service linking Las Vegas with Colorado Springs, Colo.; Fresno, Calif.; Wichita, Kan.; and, starting June 19, Des Moines, Iowa.
