Alliance Gaming Corp. has elected Richard M. Haddrill to the company's board of directors. Haddrill is president, chief executive and board member of Manhattan Associates Inc., an Atlanta-based technology company. He has served in this position since October 1999.
Prior to joining Manhattan Associates, Haddrill was president and chief executive of Powerhouse Technologies, a technology supplier to the casino industry.
"Dick's extensive background in accounting, software, gaming and supply chain technology is a perfect business fit for both Alliance Gaming's current focus as well as our strategic direction for the future," said Robert Miodunski, president and chief executive officer of Alliance Gaming.
Haddrill replaces Mort Topfer, a former executive with Motorola Inc. and Dell Computer Corp. who retired from the board several months ago.
