Baseball
Cheyenne 7, Centennial 6: Drew Belcher homered, tripled, and drove in four runs to lead the Desert Shields to the upset. Nick Klein also added two hits and two runs. Dean Blockey went the distance for the victory.
Green Valley 14, Foothill 4 (6 innings): Ryan Foley went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and Ryan Tabor also had four RBIs as the Gators routed the Falcons.
Softball
Cimarron-Memorial 2, Palo Verde 0: Cimarron scored both its runs in the first inning, on run-scoring hits by Lindi Kennedy and Kim Adams. Adams also pitched a complete game, giving up four hits while striking out eight.
Centennial 10, Cheyenne 1: Shannon Crisp pitched a no-hitter for the Bulldogs, striking out 11 and allowing just one walk. Tori Healy homered for Centennial.
Las Vegas 9, Eldorado 7: Re'Sean Britt went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs to lead the Wildcats. Marcy Rollins also scored three times and drove in two runs for Las Vegas. Jaime Larsen led Eldorado by going 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a run.
Sierra Vista 5, Durango 4: Jamie Meranto scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning to lift the Lions. Rebecca Rumsey earned the win for Sierra Vista.
Green Valley 6, Foothill 4: The Gators erased a four-run deficit to win. Trina Dorn, Jennifer Davies, and Emily Sully all had two hits for Green Valley, and Meaghan Haley pitched 4 1/3 innings of no-hit ball to earn the win. Rebecca Ritchie had two hits for Foothill.

Bishop Gorman 195, Sierra Vista 207 (at Las Vegas Country Club) Medalist: Robert Massi (BG) - 36
Cimarron-Memorial 231, Cheyenne 235 (at Painted Desert) Medalist: Keenan Voit (CM) - 35
Clark 206, Western 247 (at Las Vegas Municipal) Medalist: Harry McCoy (Clk) - 39
Boys' Volleyball
Foothill def. Vo-Tech, 25-22, 25-12, 25-20: Alex Funtila recorded 16 assists, Jake Lamb put down 11 kills, and Beau Kalmes had six kills for the Falcons.
Chaparral def. Las Vegas, 25-23, 25-21, 27-25: Steven Sanford had 15 kills and Chris Golightly totaled 38 assists for the Cowboys. Jayson Gifford recorded 19 assists and 10 blocks, and Devin Busby had 11 blocks for Las Vegas.
