ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A man who won $25 million in the lottery last December was stabbed several times in the same tavern where he bought the winning ticket.
Richard Krenzer, 31, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after the 9 p.m. attack Monday at Swillburg Stop Bar & Grill. The stab wounds in his arms, shoulder and legs were not considered life threatening, said Rochester police Lt. Jim Noble.
The stabbing stemmed from an argument unrelated to the lottery, Noble said.
Krenzer won a $25 million lottery prize Dec. 11. He opted to receive his winnings over 26 years.
