Phillip Charles Ackor
Phillip Charles Ackor, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 31, 1916, in East Hartford, Conn. A resident for 12 years, he was an electrical engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Ocean Club and the Horseshoe Club and was a graduate of Renessler Poly Tech.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; one daughter, Elizabeth Shafer of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Salvatore Bencivenga
Salvatore Bencivenga, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 24 years, he was a foreman for the sanitation department.
He is survived by one son, Robert Bencivenga of Las Vegas; two daughters, Rosanne Bonanno of Dallas and Grace Federico of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Alan Burdick
Alan Burdick, 39, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 15, 1963, in San Gabriel, Calif. A resident for five years, he was an administrative assistant in the real estate industry.
He is survived by his mother, Alicia Burdick, and one sister, Carmi Melton, both of Las Vegas.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Firefighters Memorial Park, Redwood Street and Oakey Boulevard. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Joyce Anne Burleson
Joyce Anne Burleson, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. A dealer, she was born Sept. 23, 1953, in Pittsburgh.
She is survived by her husband, Randy; and three grandchildren.

Grace May Dow
Grace May Dow, 97, of Las Vegas died March 30 in Las Vegas. She was born May 12, 1905, in Ohio. A resident for 31 years, she was a secretary for the post office.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial was in Ohio.
James M. Glosser
James M. Glosser, 63, of Hammond, Ill., died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 6, 1939, in Lawrenceville, Ill. A resident for eight years, he was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Maynard, Debra Morales and Nicole Swalting, all of Las Vegas; two sons, Erick Glosser of Las Vegas and Christopher Glosser of Idaho; three sisters, Mary Kluth of Las Vegas, Terry Sheilds of Oaklawn, Ill., and Betty Sprate of Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Morris 'Dan' Guyer
Morris "Dan" Guyer, 55, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 14, 1947, in Edinburg, Texas. A resident for 35 years, he was a police officer and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Timber Guyer of Boise, Idaho, and Toni Guyer of Elko; two sons, Shannon Guyer of Henderson and Hunter Guyer of Elko; his mother, Juanita Pucci, and two sisters, Sonda Kiernan and Deborah Kerr, all of Henderson; one brother, Kenneth Guyer of Elko; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
William P. Hunter Jr.
William P. Hunter Jr., 37, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1965, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 15 years, he was a casino hard count supervisor.
He is survived by his parents, Charlotte A. and William P. Hunter Sr., and one sister, Kathryn F. Stanard, all of Las Vegas.
A memorial service was scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Sandra Mathas
Sandra Mathas, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 7, 1952, in Elmhurst, Ill. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by two daughters, Cassandra Mathas of Las Vegas and Deanne Drury of Chino Valley, Ariz.; one son, John Mathas of Roselle Ill.; her mother, Marjorie Zatterstrom of Las Vegas; and one sister, Sharon Contreras of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. A private burial will follow.

Wilhelmina Mosse
Wilhelmina Mosse, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Dingolfing, Germany. A resident for 37 years, she was a retired restaurant hostess.
She is survived by one daughter, Sonja Mosse of Kodiak, Alaska; two sons, George B. Mosse III of Las Vegas and David Mosse Sr. of San Bernardino, Calif.; one sister, Antonie Hoffman of Neufahrn, Germany; and six grandchildren.

Juliette Ann Marie Nelson
Juliette Ann Marie Nelson, 84, of Las Vegas died April 6 in a local hospital. She was born May 18, 1918, in Canada. A resident for 40 years, she was a casino cashier.

Hulda Mae 'Tootie' Osen
Hulda Mae "Tootie" Osen, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 8, 1932, in South Dakota. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Paul R.; two daughters, Linda Lusk of Stayton, Ore., and Pauline Cox of Benton, Kan.; three sons, Roger Osen of Kimberly, Idaho, and Charles Osen and Gunnar Osen, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Kay Cone of Spencer, S.D., and Florence Moss of Hooper, Neb.; one brother, Hughes Olson of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
William Southard
William Southard, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Woodlawn, Md. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired consultant in the marketing industry, a World War II Army veteran, past president of the Las Vegas Rotary Club and past president of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Nevada, past chairman of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Commission, advisory board of the Salvation Army of Las Vegas and advisory board of Community College of Southern Nevada, council commissioner for the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, silver beaver award recipient from the Boy Scouts and a lifetime membership award recipient from the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his wife, Sara; two sons, Scott Southard of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and James Southard of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Elizabeth Reyes Wright
Elizabeth Reyes Wright, 44, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for six months, she was born Aug. 2, 1958, in El Centro, Calif.
She is survived by one son, Vincent, her parents, Mary and Joseph Reyes, and two sisters, Joann Johnson and Esther Sarmiento, all of Las Vegas; and her brother, J.R. Reyes of Salinas, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 7 p.m. rosary today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Viator Catholic Church.
