Tort reform talks set at law school
The Boyd School of Law and the Center for Democratic Culture will present "The Law and Politics of Tort Reform: Local and National Developments" symposium from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday in the law school, Room 102.
The free two-part symposium, which is open to the public, will bring together commentators from academia, politics, business, and the professions to address legal and public policy aspects of the current tort reform and controversy.

Dance marathon scheduled Saturday
Dance Charisma and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will host a dance marathon at 7 p.m. Saturday at the dance center, 3650 S. Jones Blvd., Suite 16.
The event will feature a variety of music, an auction, and performances by members of Tango Silhouette and the Schweenie Sisters. Call 364-8700.
