Leo Patrick Asel Sr.
Leo Patrick Asel Sr., 51, of Henderson died Wednesday in Shamrock, Texas. He was born Aug. 5, 1951, in Brookville, Pa. A resident for 24 years, he was a freight line truck driver and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; one daughter, Nicole Asel, and two sons, Leo Asel Jr. and Roger Asel, all of Henderson; his mother, Bertha Asel of Marienville, Pa.; two brothers, Ronald Asel of Lebanon, Conn., and Howard Asel of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Dorbie Lemmon of Akron and Leona Fiscus of Warren, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Patricia Ann Bittick
Patricia Ann Bittick, 57, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 26, 1945, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.
She is proceeded in death by one brother, Walter Frank Zylo.
She is survived by three sons, Aaron Zylo, Erik L. Ponder and Douglas Ponder, all of North Las Vegas; her mother, Anna Zylo of Burgesttstown, Pa.; three sisters, Mary Baker and Kathleen Zylo, both of Burgettstown, and Sylvia Furbee of Derry, Pa.; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Kollene Kawaii Kipoomai Kalani Loihana
Kollene Kawaii Kipoomai Kalani Loihana, 70, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born May 3, 1932, in Honomu, Hawaii. A resident for three years, she was a secretary for a freight service.
She is survived by three sisters, Katherine Tirrell of Hilo, Hawaii, Nellie Piena of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Lily Hokoaha of Waipahu, Hawaii.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Alonzo Eugene Smith
Alonzo Eugene Smith, 22, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 23, 1980, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was a stocker at Nellis Air Force Base.
He is survived by his father, Lorenzo Smith Sr. of Victorville, Calif.; his mother, Martha Dennis, one brother, Levictas Reed, and one sister, Tanah Hughey, all of North Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Elizabeth Reyes Wright
Elizabeth Reyes Wright, 44, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for six months, She was born Aug. 2, 1958, in El Centro, Calif.
She is survived by one son, Vincent Pizarro, her parents, Mary and Joseph Reyes, and two sisters, Joann Johnson and Esther Sarmiento, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, J.R. Reyes of Salinas, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 6 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
The family suggests donations to the National Kidney Foundation of Nevada, 4100 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
