Williams scholarship concert set Sunday
The 15th annual Joe Williams Music Scholarship fund-raiser will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the main showroom of The Orleans.
The event will include performers Dee Dee Bridgewater, Victor Fields, the Cunninghams, Artie Butler, Johnny Pate, Community College of Southern Nevada's Vocal Jazz Choir and All-Star Jazz Band.

Hills Park setting for annual pet walk
Registration for the seventh annual Wag-A-Tail Walk-A-Thon will begin at 8 a.m. Sunday at Hills Park, 9099 Hillpoint Drive. The walk starts at 9 a.m.
Owners of other pets (cats, horses, birds, fish, iguanas, tortoises, tarantulas) are encouraged to walk in honor of their pets.
Registration is $20 and includes a T-shirt and all activities. Pre-register on-line at www.lvv.humane.org.

Republican Women plan membership brunch
The annual membership brunch hosted by Republican Women of Las Vegas will be at noon Sunday at Spanish Trail Country Club.
The program's Easter bonnet contest features speakers state Controller Kathy Augustine and Laurie Porter, wife of Rep. Jon Porter, R-Nev.

Courtney Children's health fair Saturday
Courtney Children's Foundation's health fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Judith Villas Apartment Complex, 711 E. Nelson St.
The fair will address nutrition, pregnancy, family planning, dental care, immunizations, HIV/AIDS and other pertinent health issues, along with food, drink and entertainment. Admission is free. Call 315-5159.
