Allegiant Air will inaugurate nonstop service between Des Moines, Iowa, and Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport beginning June 19.
The company announced today that it initially would schedule flights four days a week to and from Des Moines International Airport on 161-passenger twin-engine MD-83 jets. It's the first scheduled nonstop service between Las Vegas and Des Moines.
Allegiant already has nonstop service between Las Vegas and Fresno, Calif., Colorado Springs, Colo., and Wichita, Kan. Allegiant also offers package deals with Las Vegas hotel properties through its Allegiant Vacations subsidiary.
