Shadow Ridge High announces two coaches

Shadow Ridge High School, slated to open in the far Northwest part of town in fall, announced Tuesday the hiring of its head football and boys' basketball coaches.
John "J.D." Johnson will lead the Shadow Ridge football team, which will compete as an independent in 2003. Johnson comes to Shadow Ridge from Sierra Vista, where he served as a varsity assistant for the past two years.
Kevin Otis is the new Shadow Ridge basketball coach, also coming over from Sierra Vista from his varsity assistant spot.
