Las Vegas Arts District will showcase local artists, unique shops and street entertainment from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. the first Friday of each month at Main Street and Charleston Boulevard. Admission is free. 678-6278.

Benefit, auction

The Nevada Clay Guild and Green Valley High School will sponsor the third annual Empty Bowl Benefit and Auction from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Green Valley High School, 460 Arroyo Grande Blvd. Admission is $12; $10 for children. Wildflowers

The Nevada Division of State Parks and Valley of Fire State Park will co-sponsor a wildflower excursion at 1 p.m. Saturday beginning at Valley of Fire State Park's Visitors Center. The caravan will visit several locations. Program is free. Admission to park is $5 per vehicle. 875-4141.
