Catcing Up With … JAMAR GLASPER

Currently: After starting all 11 games at safety for the Aggies in 2001, Glasper is off to another strong start for Utah State. The three-year letterman blocked a field goal, intercepted a pass and recorded four tackles Saturday as Utah State beat Idaho State to earn its first victory of the season. After missing most of spring football because of injury, the 23-year-old Glasper bounced right back and is second on the Aggies in tackles for the season.

Looking back: During his three years on the Gators' varsity, Glasper established himself as one of Southern Nevada's premier defenders. He earned a pair of all-conference selections and also garnered Sunset Division Defensive Player of the Year honors in his 1997 senior campaign.
