StumbleMining association honors McCaw teacher

The Nevada Mining Association honored Janet Bremer, a fourth grade teacher at McCaw Elementary School in Henderson, with the Dan Harper Award for Excellence in Education at its annual convention.
The Nevada Mining Association's Education Committee presents the Excellence in Education award to a teacher who has demonstrated a strong commitment to students and mining-related subjects.
Candidates submit a written application and letters of recommendation from colleagues. The winner receives a $1,000 stipend for use in the classroom.
