StumbleConstruction begins on hospital

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA's Sunrise Healthcare System, along with health care and government representatives, placed the cornerstone of the Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center during a ceremony on a 40-acre site at I-215 and West Sunset Road. Today's ceremony marked the official beginning of construction for the $140 million hospital in southwest Las Vegas, which is expected to open in early 2004.
