C. Phillip Allen

C. Phillip Allen, 79, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1922, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired sound technician, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the National Rifle Association and a civil defense radio operator.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona; three sons, Steve Allen of Los Angeles, Bruce Allen of Las Vegas and Todd Allen of Logandale; one sister, Cynthia Thompson of Carson City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday at the LDS Walnut and Carey chapel. Burial will be private. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Marvin L. Alexander Sr.

Marvin L. Alexander Sr., 74, of Houston died Sept. 2 in Houston. He was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Creed, Colo. A former Clark County resident for 50 years, he was in the construction industry and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Conrad; five sons, John, Nathan and Donald, all of Texas, and Marvin Jr. of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Estelle Fincher; one sister, Bonnie Brown of California; two brothers, Darrell of California and Alvin of Las Vegas; the Croft and Stout families; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 12:45 p.m. Friday in in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City, Utah, is handling arrangements.

David Alvarez

David Alvarez, 18, died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 2, 1984, in Chicago. A lifelong resident, he was a furniture moving driver.

He is survived by his parents, Frederico and Maria; one brother, Frederico Jr.; and two sisters, Juana Alvarez and Patricia Alvarez.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Ernestine Bagsby

Ernestine Bagsby, 63, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, she was a keypunch operator.

She is survived by three daughters, Carla, Gerri, April and Colleen; four sons, Kenneth, Darryl, Aaron and Brian; her father, Ernest Beale; two brothers, Edward C. Beale and John Beale; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Gerald Norman Brenner

Gerald Norman Brenner, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 29, 1932, in New York. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sachiko; three sons, Gerald, Jeffery and Daryle; his mother, Adeline Eberle; and one brother, Donald.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Caroline M. Brosseau

Caroline M. Brosseau, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 13, 1919, in Gillette, Wyo. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Marc R. Brosseau of Denver and Paul H. Brosseau of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Services will be noon Friday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd.

Delfino R. Campos

Delfino R. Campos, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 20, 1947, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was a master electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357.

He is survived by one son, Delfino Edward Campos, and one daughter, Brandi Renee Campos, both of Dallas; his parents, John and Carmen Campos of Waco; four brothers, John R. Campos Jr. of Irving, Texas, Albert Campos of Syracuse, N.Y., Manuel Campos of New York, and Paul Campos of McGregor, Texas; three sisters, Connie Ramon of Fort Worth, Texas, Janie Ortega of Irving and Irene Casas of Waco; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Luz M. Cristobal

Luz M. Cristobal, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Laoag City, Philippines. A resident for seven years, she was a retired quality control inspector in the garment industry.

She is survived by her husband, Juan; one daughter, Lourelli Vega of Kenosha, Wis.; one son, Allen Cristobal of Las Vegas; two sisters, Guillerma Ramos of Laoag and Raymunda Ballesteros of Guam; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 10 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Michael Angelo Fazio

Michael Angelo Fazio, 42, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1960, in Joliet, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a corporate sales trainer for a chemical company.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; two sons, Michael Angelo Fazio II and Vincent Natale Fazio, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Mary and Natale Fazio of Joliet; one sister, Mary Jo Fazio of Romeoville, Ill.; and three brothers, Roy Fazio of Gardner, Ill., Don Fazio of Las Vegas and Nate Fazio of New Lenox, Ill.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.

Arturo Guerrero-Espana

Arturo Guerrero-Espana, four months, of Las Vegas died Sept. 10 in Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 2002, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Espana, his father, Arturo Guerrero, one brother, Juan Carlos Cervantes, three sisters, Juanita Cervantes, Cecelia Cervantes and Maria Cervantes, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Candelaria Espana of Las Vegas and Maria Luz and Francisco Guerrero of Mexico.

Visitation will be 2-6:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary.

Warren A. Gulau

Warren A. Gulau, 76, of Las Vegas died Sept. 6 in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Woodside, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired Postal Service supervisor and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two sons, Dr. Glen Gulau of Fort Collins, Colo., and Kevin Gulau of Las Vegas; one daughter, Diane Heller of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Dr. Stanley W. Hailey

Dr. Stanley W. Hailey, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 22, 1933, in Harrisonburg, La. A resident for one year, he was a retired physician and a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by one son, Harlin Hailey of Los Angeles.

Graveside services will be 9:45 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Alex Dustin Macias

Alex Dustin Macias, 1, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. A resident for two months, he was born Oct. 27, 2000, in Henderson.

He is survived by his mother, Darla Jenkins, his father, Louie Macias, both of Henderson; his grandparents, Sergio and Janice Macias of Henderson, Charles Jenkins of Franklinton, La., and Roberta Jenkins of Kingman, Ariz.; his great-grandparents, Ofelia and Daniel Macias of Henderson, Clyde and Dorothy Martinez of Inglewood, Calif., and Dorothy Jenkins of Franklinton; and great-great-grandparents, Rebecca Diaz and Ramona Sanchez, both of Espanola, N.M.

Richard Edwin Manlove

Richard Edwin Manlove, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1949, in San Francisco. A resident for 14 years, he was a automotive transmission mechanic, a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran and a member of the 9-Ball Association.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; three daughters, Dolores Manlove, Misty Gann and Connie Garcia, all of Sequim, Wash.; his father, John Manlove of Allen, Wash.; six sisters, Jackie Powell of Traverse City, Mich., Jude Kilen of Port Orchard, Wash., Cindy Moran of Kinston, Wash., and Liz Horton, Sue Marquardt and Debbie, all of Washington state; three brothers, Roger Manlove of Bellevue, Wash., and Johnny Manlove and Frank Shannon, both of Washington state; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be 4-9 p.m. Saturday in the Super Sport Lounge, 931 Las Vegas Blvd North. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Murray Margolies

Murray Margolies, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Dec. 6, 1920, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a fast food restaurant, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; one son, Alan Margolies, and one daughter, Mindy Margolies, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Terri Kaplan of New York City; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Tony Martinez

Tony Martinez, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 27, 1920, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired actor/writer/director in film, television and theater and starred in "The Real McCoys," was a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Equity and the American Film and TV Artists.

He is survived by his wife, Myra; two sons, David Martinez of Las Vegas and Christian Martinez of California; two daughters, Renee Wilson of Cedar City, Utah, and Lissette Martinez of New York; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life is pending. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Bettie Jane Moberly

Bettie Jane Moberly, 82, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Los Angeles. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired real estate investor.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Madsen of Henderson; and two sons, Gary Osborne of Sun City, Ariz., and Donald Osborne of Crestline, Calif.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Jim Ochoa

Jim Ochoa, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 4, 1941, in Gill, Colo. A resident for 36 years, she was a letter carrier and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ursula; three sons, Donald Ochoa and David Ochoa, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jimmy Ochoa of Denver; one daughter, Denise Randall of Sacramento; six brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Faye Elizabeth Perlmeter

Faye Elizabeth Perlmeter, 95, of Las Vegas died Monday.

She is survived by three daughters, Amy Baron of Las Vegas, Joan Felker of Convent Station, N.J., and Corinne Kamerow of Bethesda, Md.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Virginia.

Margaret Rivas

Margaret Rivas, 78, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 7, 1924, in Dragon, Utah. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired dock worker for a second-hand store.

She is survived by four daughters, Thelma Brown of Longmont, Colo., Margaret Austin of Broken Arrow, Okla., Shirley Manus of Las Vegas and Becky Dresser of Henderson; two sons, Tony Rivas and Steven Rivas, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Marjorie Hance of Longmont, Colo.; one brother, Steve Brown of Thornton, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Filomena Siegel

Filomena Siegel, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1934, in New York City. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired beauty salon operator.

She is survived by her husband, Bernie; four daughters, Geri Bowers of Washington, D.C., Debbie Erickson, Vicki Chisolm and Fran Woy, all of Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; her mother, Josephine D'Ornellas of New York City; one brother, Manny D'Ornellas of Palm Coast, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Nancy Marilou Clark Wadsworth

Nancy Marilou Clark Wadsworth, 63, of Las Vegas died Sept. 11 in Las Vegas. She was born March 10, 1939, in Cincinnati. A resident for 42 years, she was a dealer and co-owner of Family Billiards parlor.

She is survived by her husband, Larry David Wadsworth; two sons, Larry Alan and Danny Michael, both of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Zollinger of Stansbury Park, Utah, and Kristy Marshall of Logan, Utah; two sisters, Susan Pitts and Janet Caldwell, both of Kingman, Ariz.; and 14 grandchildren.

Services will be private. Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Lois L. Wilson

Lois L. Wilson, 70, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. A resident for 31 years, she was a cook at Lady Luck.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqualyn Wilson, and one son, John A. Wilson, both of North Las Vegas; one brother, Derald Coburn of Waterloo, Iowa; and two sisters, Janice Hinrichs of Las Vegas and Betty Finnestad of Cylinder, Iowa.

Fay Wrangham

Fay Wrangham, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 25, 1920, in Las Vegas. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired firefighter, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1326.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna; one son, Larry Wrangham of Duck Creek Village, Utah; his mother, Myrtle Wrangham of Bismark, N.D.; five sisters, Fern Lauf of Lamoure, N.D., Eva Rogers of Irvine, Calif., Elaine Bohrer of Las Vegas, Beverly Fode of Upland, Ind., and Jacalyn Zander of West Fargo, N.D.; five brothers, Gayle Wrangham and Wayne Wrangham, both of Bismark, Norlyn Wrangham of Hayward, Calif., Kenneth Wrangham of Upland, Ind., and Dwight Wrangham of Bismark; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
