Elaine V. Beecroft

Elaine V. Beecroft, 78, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 13, 1923, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Chris Beecroft Jr., of Las Vegas, Douglas Beecroft of Riverside, Calif., and Richard Beecroft of Wildomar, Calif.; three brothers, Ken Baisden of Texas, Lowell Baisden of Appleton, Wis., and Orrin Baisden of Central, Utah; one sister, Norma Kovacik of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Clifford E. Cox

Clifford E. Cox, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 25, 1925, in Mineral, Ill. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired owner and operator of a Maverick Truck Stop, and World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eva; one daughter, Liz Darland of Las Vegas; one brother, Chauncey Cox of Talent, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial.

Steve Fekete

Steve Fekete, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born July 27, 1919, in Lorain, Ohio. A resident for seven years, he was a retired auto dealer and World War II Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes; and one sister, Elizabeth Zeh of Plymouth, Mich.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Marilyn 'Judy' Figley

Marilyn "Judy" Figley, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 29, 1943, in McClennan, Alberta. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired insurance biller.

She is survived by her husband, Donald D.; one daughter, Cherie Smith of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two sons, Robbie Figley of Missouri and David Figley of North Carolina; two sisters, Maxine Pitto of San Andreas, Calif., and Barbara Hignet of Yuba City, Calif.; two brothers, Robert Arndt of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and Terry Arndt of Hemet, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Thursday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Harold Finkel

Harold Finkel, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1917, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired furniture store owner, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons and Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Lil; one daughter, Leslie Schuminsky of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Services were 9 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Lillian A. Freer

Lillian A. Freer, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1923, in San Francisco. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired factory packer/assembler.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Claire A. Harshaw of Fort Smith, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are private. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Scott Alexander Gray

Scott Alexander Gray, 42, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 24, 1960, in Chicago. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a laborer and Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; one brother, Tim Gray of Twin Lakes, Wis.; and one sister, Sandy Siems of Pell Lake, Wis.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6220 N. Jones Blvd., followed by a private burial. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Maxine G. Krall

Maxine G. Krall, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 23, 1928, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker and business education instructor.

She is survived by her husband, Harry W.; two sons, Randall C. Krall of Langhorne, Pa., and Bruce E. Krall of West Covina, Calif.; one daughter, Jean Anne Overland of Atascadero, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.

Wayne Douglas Ledbetter

Wayne Douglas Ledbetter, 58, of Henderson died Saturday. He was born May 8, 1944, in Montgomery, Ala. A resident for 20 years, he was an airline pilot for Southwest and a member of IOOB Motorcycle Club of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Kristen; one stepdaughter, Joanna Radmall of Austin, Texas; three sons, Eric Ledbetter of Austin, Brian Ledbetter of Las Vegas and Andrew Ledbetter of Henderson; one sister, Virginia Aucoin of Franklin, La.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Carl McDearmon

Carl McDearmon, 84, of Andrews, Texas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 2, 1918, in Texas. A former resident of Henderson, he was a driller.

He is survived by one granddaughter, Sue Ann McDearmon-Smith.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Texas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jack Jacob Miller Jr.

Jack Jacob Miller Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1943, in California. A resident for seven years, he was a respiratory therapist and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; four sons, Mike Lock of Nampa, Idaho, Jonathan Miller of Boise, Idaho, Robert Tucker of Palm Springs, Calif., and John "Garrett" Tucker of Las Vegas; five daughters, Anna Miller and Estelle Miller, both of Boise, Christawnia Gross of Council, Idaho, and Lena Miller and Katie Miller, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three brothers, Gordon, Gary and Richard Miller of Twin Falls, Idaho; one sister, Sherri Lake of Jerome, Idaho; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Solid Rock Four Square. Graveside services will be held in Boise. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Sharon Miller

Sharon Miller, 59, of Boulder City died Friday. She was born Nov. 5, 1942, in Springville, Utah. A resident for 50 years, she was a caregiver.

She is survived by her parents, Billie and Gus Strong of Boulder City; and four sisters, Carol Prudhomme of Canebeds, Ariz., Diann Stairs of Henderson, Linda Swearingen of Battle Ground, Wash., and Patricia Draleau of Olympia, Wash.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson, followed by graveside services.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Gisele Judith Oakes

Gisele Judith Oakes, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 25, 1933, in Quebec. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Michelle Waldroop, and one son, Donald Oakes Jr., both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Germain Bolduc of Montreal and Patrick Bolduc and Beni Bolduc, both of Quebec; four sisters, Francine Bilodeau, Clemence Trudel, Henriette Bolduc and Rejeanne Bolduc, all of Quebec; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Michael L. Pagni

Michael L. Pagni, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 20, 1942, in Chicago. A resident for 27 years, he was an entrepreneur and Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Sheryl Dell'Aringa, and two daughters, Jeannine Dell'Aringa and Michelle Walls, all of Las Vegas; two sons, James Dell'Aringa of Las Vegas and Brian Dell'Aringa of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sandra F. Stovall

Sandra F. Stovall, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 11, 1939, in Tucson. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired teacher and counselor and a member of the Mesquite Club.

She is survived by her husband, William R.; one son, Marty Colbaugh of Kingman, Ariz.; one daughter, Suzanne Kylen of Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Sharon Reed of Las Vegas; one brother, Michael Summers of Ogden, Utah; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 North Pavilion Center Drive. Graveside services will be private. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charles Joseph Tettamanti

Charles Joseph Tettamanti, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. Born Oct. 20, 1913, in Easton, Pa., he was a resident for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Rayfield Travis

Rayfield Travis, 59, of Las Vegas died Sept. 9 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Sondheimer, La. A resident for 38 years, he was a hotel bellman.

He is survived by three daughters, Andrea Travis, Katrina Woods and Chanda Travis, and one brother, Mack Travis Sr., all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Maggie Walker and Roseanna Travis, both of Las Vegas, and Tennessee Wiggins of Tallulah, La.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1240 W. Adams Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Donald J. Virag

Donald J. Virag, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 11, 1928, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired linen salesman and Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia; and one son, David Paul Virag of Hollywood, Fla.

Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Pat Williams

Pat Williams, 65, of Pahrump died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Baltimore. A resident for three years, he was an electrical worker, groundskeeper, member of Good Times Square & Round Dance Club, and involved in organizing car shows.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters; and one brother.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 5441 S. Vicki Ann Road, Pahrump, followed by a celebration of life at the Mt. View Bowling Center 7 Casino.
