Customer satisfaction survey ranks Pulte at top

J.D. Power and Associates today ranked Pulte Homes Inc. the No. 1 builder in the local market, according to its annual customer satisfaction survey of the Las Vegas home-building market.

The customer satisfaction survey ranked Del Webb Communities, a subsidiary of Pulte Homes, second and Greystone Homes third, out of 27 valley home builders included in the study. Criteria for ranking include customer service, home readiness, design, quality of workmanship and materials and price and value.

J.D. Power ranked Las Vegas third out of 16 major cities it studied for overall customer satisfaction within individual markets, saying its survey of 56,000 new-home buyers indicated fewer problems with new homes than most markets experience.
