CHICAGO -- Adjusted gross receipts from the riverboat casinos in Illinois rose 4.27 percent for August to $155.9 million from $149.6 million the previous year, the Illinois Gaming Board reported.
Admissions for August were up 0.08 percent to 1.631 million, compared with 1.630 million in August 2001.
