University of Hawaii basketball coach Riley Wallace was released from a Las Vegas hospital Thursday, six days after brain surgery.
Wallace is scheduled to return home Sunday, the school said in a news release.
The Rainbow Warriors' coach checked himself into the hospital last Thursday after complaining of severe headaches. Doctors found two subdural hematomas on the left side of his skull. A hematoma is bleeding in the brain that produces pressure on the skull.
Wallace was in Las Vegas on his way to Hawaii's football game last week at BYU. He is entering his 16th season as Hawaii's coach.
