Ovarian cancer

Thai Cuisine

Thai Cultural Arts Association of Las Vegas and the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services celebrate Thai Performing Arts Appreciation Day by hosting a national costume fashion show with food and a no-host bar at 6 to 11 p.m. Tuesday at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Summer fairs

The 22nd annual San Gennaro Feast, a street fair with entertainment and a food festival, is at 4 p.m. to midnight today, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday at "Little Italy Las Vegas," southwest corner of Flamingo Road and Valley View Boulevard. Independence

The Mexican Patriotic Committee and the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services, in celebration of the 192nd anniversary of Mexico's Independence, will host a picnic 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Freedom Park, East Washington Avenue at Mojave Road.
