Suspects blame each other

The two suspects in last week's slaying of a driving instructor are blaming each other for the victim's death.
Daniel Miller's partially clad body was found in his South Paradise Road apartment on Sept. 5 after police were asked to check on his welfare.
Miller, 58, had been stabbed numerous times, beaten with a hammer and had a swastika carved in his back following his death.
Police have arrested Anthony Prentice, 19, who had lived with Miller, and James Harrison, 21, in the slaying.
Prentice told detectives he last saw Miller Aug. 30 after introducing Harrison to him. Prentice said he left the apartment after hearing what he thought was sexual activity, according to police reports.
Harrison told police that Prentice attacked Miller because Miller called him a derogatory name.
