Vegas casino hotel tries blocking pizza fliers
Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002 | 11:30 a.m.
The Sahara hotel-casino sued in Clark County District Court to stop 10 Las Vegas pizzerias from trespassing on its property and distributing their fliers under its hotel room doors.
The defendants include Flamingo Pizza Inc., Sicilian Pizza, Traditional Pizza, Bad Boy, Capri Pizza & Restaurant, Euro Pizza, Vegas Pizza, Magura Restaurant, Cafe Verdi and Cafe Verdi West.
The suit said the defendants not only diverted customers from Sahara's restaurants but their activities also led to an "accumulation of litter on Sahara's property, guest complaints about the fliers and diversion of employee resources" to address the problem.
The defendants have not yet responded to the Sahara's allegations.
