Harold Normand Ahlman
Harold Normand Ahlman, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 1921, in Wausau, Wis. A resident for two years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II and Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Mickey"; two sons, Tom Ahlman of North Las Vegas and Jim Ahlman of Sunnyvale, Calif.; one daughter, Cary Sue Stezowski of Elkhart, Ind.; one sister, Lillian Ahlman of San Francisco; and three grandchildren.
Services are private. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.
Deven Taylor Brooks-Young
Deven Taylor Brooks-Young, 3 months and 20 days old, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 2002, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his father, Joel Rex Young, and his mother, James Tyler Brooks, both of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Irene M. Bucy
Irene M. Bucy, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 5, 1929, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; one son, John Bucy Jr., and two daughters, Sandy Mitchell and Pamela Aurand, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Joan Whitehead of Weirton, W.Va., Donna Kassay of Atascadero, Calif., and Betty Clevenger of Tucson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., followed by graveside services in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Connye S. Calvert
Connye S. Calvert, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 12, 1932, in Detroit, Mich. A resident for 10 years, she was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Michael and Keith; one daughter, Christine; one brother, Donald; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Jesse M. Crenshaw
Jesse M. Crenshaw, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1930, in Neshoba County, Miss. A resident for 37 years, he owned Crenshaw Backhoe.
He is survived by seven nieces and six nephews.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Lone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church, 6319 W. Lone Mountain Road, followed by burial in Memory Gardens.

Dora Elia Davila
Dora Elia Davila, 31, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1971, in Brownsville, Texas. A resident for 15 years, she was a housewife.
She is survived by two sons, Sergio and Leopoldo; three daughters, Juana Maria, Victoria and Marisela Magdalena; her father, Domingo and mother, Maria M.; two brothers, Fausto and Sergio; four sisters, Carmen, Teresa Betances, Leticia and Diana.
Visitation was scheduled 1-4 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Arnold Vance Decker
Arnold Vance Decker, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1940, in Ely. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired truck driver and Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Gary of Indiana; one daughter, Rhonda of Las Vegas; one sister, Jackie of Reno; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Louis Foreman Jr.
Louis Foreman Jr., 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born May 21, 1932, in Clarksville, Texas. A resident for 39 years, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife Verdie; three sons, Kevin Foreman, Jamie Foreman and Frederick Foreman, and eight daughters, Jacqueline Bailey, Julia Hatcher, Jeannette Johnson, Jasmine Morton, Jewelline Brooks, Dianna Jones, Patricia Foreman and Lucretia Oakley, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Eula Mae Foreman of Clarksville; one brother, Willie D. Foreman of Dallas; 36 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave., followed by a private burial.
Helene M. Goins
Helene M. Goins, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 20, 1919, in Arkansas. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, William F. Goins of Las Vegas and George Goins of Washington; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. No local services are scheduled.
Bertha E. Hilger
Bertha E. Hilger, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 1, 1922, in Hammond, Ind. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired owner of an air conditioning company.
She is survived by one daughter, Lillian Robertson of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Clifton Leland Hinricksen
Clifton Leland Hinricksen, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1944, in Arizona. A resident for 39 years, he was an electrical communications worker and a member of the IBEW, NRA, Amateur Trap Shooting Association and the Goldwing Road Riders Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; one son, Kevin, one daughter, Staci, and one brother, LaMoyne, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Memory Gardens.
Theresia Johnson
Theresia Johnson, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1927, in Barnbach, Austria. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Chan; two sons, Mike Johnson and Rick Johnson, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd., followed by a private burial.
Rick Kaufman II
Rick Kaufman II, 32, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 29, 1970, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a chef.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kaufman; one son, Zachary Brooks, his mother, Linda F. Davis, his father, Rick L. Kaufman Jr., and his grandmother, Ethel Helgson, all of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Rebecca Clara Maloff
Rebecca Clara Maloff, 86, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for two years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Berta Maloff of Las Vegas; two sisters, Maria Charnopofsky of Mar Del Plata, Argentina, and Sara Knoblich of Buenos Aires; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Margaret LaVonne Mosier
Margaret LaVonne Mosier of Las Vegas died Aug. 24 in Las Vegas. She was born June 23, 1934, in Iowa. A resident for several years, she was a cashier.
She is survived by one son, Jon Michael Mosier; one daughter, Janel Marie Brookshire; and eight grandchildren.

Dorothy Carolyn Parks
Dorothy Carolyn Parks, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 26, 1940, in Massachusetts. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by four sons, Michael D. Dehlinger of White Rock, N.M., Dyron Dehlinger of Provo, Utah, and Derek H. Dehlinger and Darrell Dehlinger, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Dick Southworth, and three sisters, Beverly, Barb and Shirley, all of Massachusetts; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Alberto Paulo
Alberto Paulo, 50, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Angola. A resident for 11 years, he was an automotive mechanic.
He is survived by one son, Ronald Paulo, and two daughters, Lusinga Paulo and Pearl Paulo, all of Las Vegas; five brothers, Americo Paulo, Lucamda Paulo, Jose Paulo, Aniceto Paulo and Alcides Paulo, and eight sisters, Evalina Paulo, Maria Paulo, Cecilia Paulo, Adelia Paulo, Rebeca Paulo, Helena Paulo, Alice Paulo and Joaquina Paulo, all of Luanda.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Jason Michael Pickett
Jason Michael Pickett, 25, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 10, 1976, in Van Nuys, Calif. A resident for five years, he was a serviceman for an air conditioning company.
He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Betts, one sister, Kristina Pickett, and his grandmother, Catherine Tippit, all of Henderson.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Chester Placek
Chester Placek, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired editor for a magazine company, Korean War Army veteran, and a member of the Sun City Writers Club.
He is survived by three sons, James Placek of Bartlett, Ill., Thomas Placek of Schaumburg, Ill., and Steven Placek of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Violet, and one brother, Ed, both of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Eugenio Jesus Sevillano
Eugenio Jesus Sevillano, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Peru. A resident for eight months, he was a retired farmer.
He is survived by her wife, Elena; five sons, Luis, Raul, Jorge, Manuel and Lucio; three daughters, Maria Paula Jennings, Vilma Randolph and Lita Robertson; one brother, Lino; three sisters, Isola, Consuelo and Victoria; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Gladys Sommers
Gladys Sommers, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 4, 1920, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired supervisor for the state Department of Employment.
She is survived by one daughter, Jane Baker of Port Hueneme, Calif.; one son, Paul Sommers of Middlebury, Vt.; one stepson, Alan Arzt of York, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

Kenneth Norman Thompson
Kenneth Norman Thompson, 70, of Sandy Valley died Tuesday in Sandy Valley. Born March 6, 1932, in Detroit, he was a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda; one stepson, Roy Wright of Morino Valley, Calif., two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Christensen of Goshen, Utah, and Terri Draper of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Teressa Pat Wagner
Teressa Pat Wagner, 39, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 24, 1962, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 29 years, she was a florist and a member of the Teamsters Union.
She is survived by her companion, Joseph Arnone; two daughters, Rebecca Arnone and Desiree Arnone; her parents, Donald "Fonz" Yeaman and Gloria "Kay" Yeaman; four brothers, Lewis Burnett, Andy Burnett, Richard Burnett and John Hilburn; one sister, Deborah Hilburn; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, followed by burial in Memory Gardens.
