Proceeds from a Las Vegas concert by Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett will benefit Citizen Alert, a statewide activist organization that has been fighting against the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dump.
Raitt and Lovett will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Aladdin.
Raitt has been a vocal opponent of the nuclear dump at Yucca Mountain, 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas.
Tickets are priced at $125 and $250. The $250 tickets include a post-show reception with Raitt.
