Roger Frank Baroch

Roger Frank Baroch, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 1940, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired dairy general manager.

He is survived by his father, Frank Baroch of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Beverly Espinoza and Darlene Meissner, both of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Eugene H. Bassett

Eugene H. Bassett, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Eau Claire, Wis. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired truck driver, a member of Teamster's local 641 and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah; two sons, Dewey Bassett of Las Vegas, and Randy DeMoe of Colfax, Wis.; five daughters, Becky Menting of Tacoma, Wash., Denise Bowers of Colorado Springs, Colo., Diane Ellmers of Florissant, Colo., and Barbara Ranney and Peggy Foulke, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Barbara Teasdale of Cuba City, Wis., and Margery Hamilton of Willmar, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Epifania C. Begley

Epifania C. Begley, 43, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born June 10, 1959, in the Philippines. A resident for five years, she was a dealer at the Fremont hotel.

She was survived by her husband, Peter J.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. services Friday at Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St.

Anthony Bosco

Anthony Bosco, 14, of Henderson died Monday. He was born Jan. 31, 1988, in Toms River, N.J. A resident for 10 years, he was a football player at Coronado High School where he was a freshman.

He is survived by his parents, Gerard Jr. and Lisa; his grandparents, Andrew and Marion Giovan of Las Vegas, and Gerard Sr. and Phyllia Bosco of Henderson.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.

Omar M. "Brad" Bradford

Omar M. "Brad" Bradford, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 31, 1910, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired analyst for the U.S. government.

He is survived by his wife, Berenice; one daughter, Sharon Lodge of Las Vegas; and one brother, Forest Bradford of Ohio; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Albert Calderon

Albert Calderon, 49, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1953, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for five years, he was a deputy sheriff.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Ochoa of Henderson; one son, A.C. Calderon, one daughter, Denise Calderon, and two brothers, Ernest Vallejo and Frank Canalez, all of Stockton; three sisters, Ramona Cardenas of Henderson and Paula Wood and Evelyn Sanchez, both of Stockton; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park-Henderson.

Elizabeth Cameron

Elizabeth Cameron, 89, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local nursing home. She was born May 17, 1913, in Renfrew, Scotland. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired medical transcriber for a hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Murray Cameron and Ronald Cameron, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Leonard E. Ciniewski

Leonard E. Ciniewski, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Chicago. A resident for four years, he was a retired hotel manager and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Andre; one daughter, Sandra Fletcher of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Tony Scott of Canyon Country, Calif.; three sisters, Virginia Settani of Florida, Estelle Skolar and Rosemary Mrvmlinski, both of Chicago; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.

Jerry Lee Cline

Jerry Lee Cline, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 9, 1939, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retired sports book technician and a member of Grapevine Fellowship.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry Cline and Darren Cline, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Denise.

Services will be noon Saturday at Grapevine Fellowship, 2323 S. Nellis Blvd. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Joseph Dipzinski

Joseph Dipzinski, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 4, 1920, in Gaylord, Mich. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired medical machinist, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Italian Catholic Federation.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; two brothers, Norbert Dipzinski of Novi, Mich. and Ernest Dipzinski of Weidman, Mich.; and five sisters, Eleanor Blanzy of Gaylord, Emily Phillips of Greeley, Colo., and Phyllis Finney, Regina Hack and Lorraine Dipzinski, all of New Port Richey, Fla.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St., followed by burial at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Milton Eres

Milton Eres, 86, of Las Vegas died Aug. 27 in a local hospice. He was born May 24, 1916, in Illinois. A resident for seven years, he was a retired automobile salesman, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Jewish War Veterans, Murry L. Rosen Post 64, and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; one son, Robert Eres; one daughter, Barbara Marie Eres; and one grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North

Patrick Andre Everson

Patrick Andre Everson, 35, of Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 23, 1966, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a baker.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; one son, Andrew D. Collins of Peach Tree, Ga.; one daughter, Devan Thorns, and his parents, James and Patricia Everson, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Pamela D. Everson of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Danita Y. Gant of Las Vegas; four brothers, Jerry J. Everson and Michael J. Everson, both of Las Vegas, and James Everson and Collis T.Laq Everson, both of North Carolina; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lanier and Wade Everson, all of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Abundant Life Church, 1720 J St., followed by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Raymond Goldstein

Raymond Goldstein, 87, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 27, 1915, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for five years, he was a retired upholsterer, World War II Army veteran, and a member of Bukowiner Bessarbian Benevolent Association of New York City.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; one stepson, Aaron Glasberg of North Kingston, R.I., one stepdaughter, Sharon Aniello of Warwick, R.I.; and one sister, Rochelle Denton of Henderson.

Services and burial will be in Rhode Island. King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Kenneth C. Harte Sr.

Kenneth C. Harte Sr., 32, of Las Vegas died Aug. 24 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1969, in California. A resident for nine months, he was a manager for a plant nursery.

He is survived by four daughters, Katrina, Corinna, Katalina and Cindy Roegale; two sons, Kenneth Charles Harte Jr., and Kenny Roegale; one brother, Bruce Wayne Harte; one sister, Melody Dawn Hamilton; his father, Keith Charles Harte; his mother, Mary Etta Bigg; and his grandmother, Beatrice Daugherty.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Adam Higginbotham

Adam Higginbotham, 25, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Oct. 19, 1976, in Decatur, Ala. A resident for four years, he was a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Amber; one son, Zachary Higginbotham of Las Vegas; his father, Randy Higginbotham of Rogersville, Ala., his mother, Melissa Mills of Crawford, Colo.; two brothers, Scott Daniels of Town Creek, Ala., and Mike Mills of Crawford; one sister, Shawna Mills of Crawford; and his grandparents, D.L. and Helen Higginbotham, both of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Harold Bradford and Catherine Calhoun, both of Town Creek, Ala.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Velma Hutson

Velma Hutson, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 2, 1931, in Lake Village, Ark. A resident for 47 years, she was a housekeeper.

She is survived by her husband, Noble; one daughter, Kathy Hutson, and three sons, Larry Hutson, Noble Hutson Jr., and Donnie Johnson, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Essie Mae Long of Las Vegas and Clora T. Fleming of San Pablo, Calif.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Robert Dale Land

Robert Dale Land, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1925, in Dos Cabezas, Ariz. A resident for 49 years, he owned a tax preparation company, worked in the casino industry for 49 years and was a World War II Army.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia J.; one daughter, Cheri D'Addario of Saugus, Calif., one stepdaughter, Tana Blaska, Outing, Minn.; four sons, David Land of Saugus and Dale Land, William Land and Robin Land, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Carl Land and Fred Land, both of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Linda Le May, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 13, 1945, in Canton, Ohio. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired grocery clerk.

She is survived by two brothers, David Le May of Henderson and Rick Le May of Las Vegas; and his longtime friend, Bettie Boyd.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra M. Reilly of Henderson and Anne Marie Lesser of Houston; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Helen I. Schulte, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Sidney, Pa. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Johnson of Las Vegas; one sister, Susan Skrajner of Mentor, Ohio; one brother, John Popik of Cleveland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Eileen Massi, and Deborah Jean Surowiec, and two sons, Thomas Surowiec and Robert Surowiec, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Cecelia Loedding of Ambridge, Pa., and Mary Sesti and Jenny Narbesky, both of Baden, Pa.; three brothers, Walter Surowiec of El Paso, Texas, John Surowiec of Conway, Pa., and Anthony Surowiec of New Brighton, Pa.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Sheryl J. Handelman of Las Vegas; one sister, Julia Jacobsen of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and three grandchildren.

Willis M. Troy Jr.

Willis M. Troy Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 13, 1926, in Philadelphia. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired air traffic controller and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; one daughter, Judith Troy of San Antonio; one stepdaughter, Paula Williams of North Hollywood, Calif.; two stepsons, Anthony Godsey of Northridge, Calif., and Allan Godsey of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Novella Troy of Philadelphia; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Margie Villanueva

Margie Villanueva, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 8, 1928, in Angeles City, Philippines. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Jim Villanueva of Henderson; four brothers, Adolfo Acuesta, Mike Acuesta, Augustin Acuesta and Nemesio Acuesta, and two sisters, Generosa Conde and Aurea Cunanan, all of California; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ted Terumi Yoshiwara

Ted Terumi Yoshiwara, 80, of Las Vegas died Aug. 26 in Las Vegas. He was born March 5, 1922, in North Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired landscape gardener.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie; three sons, Jon Yoshiwara of Portland, Ore., and Ted Yoshiwara Jr., and Dean Yoshiwara, both of Moorpark, Calif.; one sister, Mitz Okuhara of Lodi, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, Boulder City, followed by burial.

Harold Zorn

Harold Zorn, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 2, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired owner of a catering company, World War II Air Force veteran, and a member of the Paradise Democratic Club, Clark County Democratic Central Committee, Society of Singers and B'nai B'rith.

He is survived by his wife, Adele "ZZ"; two daughters, Rochelle Zorn of Las Vegas and Susan Kaplan of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one son, L. Scott Zorn, and one brother, Stan Rich, both of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Thursday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by burial in King David Cemetery.
