Anti-terrorism funds increased

Nevada will receive $3.69 million to help respond to acts of terrorism involving biological or chemical agents.
The funds, awarded by the U.S. Justice Department, will be used to purchase specialized equipment and for training to respond to weapons of mass destruction.
Nevada previously received $1.27 million in equipment funds as part of the 2001 state Domestic Preparedness Equipment program.
