Gloria Alcayde
Gloria Alcayde, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 29, 1924, in Mandaluyong, Philippines. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Bhoy, Henry, Rudy and Jing, and two daughters, Linea and Milette, all of the Philippines; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.
Eric R. Anthony
Eric R. Anthony, 43, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1959, in Schenectady, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, he was a newspaper and magazine salesman and a member of the Vagos Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Lacey Fuller, and his mother, Marlene Dorval, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Ernest Anthony of Schenectady; one sister, Eileen Elamin of Bellevue, Wash.
Visitation and services are scheduled 5-9 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
Edward Henry Bauerband Jr.
Edward Henry Bauerband Jr., 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 22, 1930, in Elizabeth, N.J. A resident for 11 years, he served in the office of the Army chief of staff, was a Korean War and Vietnam War Army veteran and was a Quiet Birdman.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen R. Bauerband of Miami and Scott E. Bauerband of Garnerville, N.Y.; one sister, Audrey Weber of Fort Ludlow, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will 2 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Damian Pamelarose Coleman
Damian Pamelarose Coleman, 2, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 19, 2000, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Marcus and Danielle Coleman, one sister, Sabriya Coleman, and her grandparents, Donald and Pamela Coleman and Rosemary Masi, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Louise Day, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 25, 1908, in San Francisco. A resident for eight years, she was a retired real estate broker.
She is survived by one son, Edgar Day; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Griffith United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd. Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., handled arrangements.
Jessie Ruth Earles
Jessie Ruth Earles, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A resident for 12 years, she was born July 25, 1941, in Seminole, Okla.
She is survived by her guardians, Loren and Katheryn Watson; one brother, Howard Earles of Titusville, Fla.; and two sisters, Anne Haggard of Louisville, Texas, and Kaye Earles of Seminole, Okla.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. Saturday in the LDS Desert Trails Ward at Christy and Kell lanes. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Carlos Garcia-Cesareo
Carlos Garcia-Cesareo, 32, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A bus person, he was born Sept. 10, 1970, in Mexico.
He is survived by his mother, Clemente Cesareo-Castro; his father, Francisco Garcia-Ramos; four brothers, Alfredo Garcia-Cesareo, Celso Garcia-Cesareo, Justino Garcia-Cesareo and Valentin Garcia-Cesareo; and four sisters, Eduwiges Garcia-Cesareo, Margarita Garcia-Cesareo, Maria Garcia-Cesareo and Herlinda Garcia-Cesareo.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mexico. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Thomas W. Garside
Thomas W. Garside, 60, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born July 29, 1942, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for two years, he was a retired machinist and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Elizabeth Garside and Margaret Lawrence, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Victoria Jordon of Westminster, Calif., and Virginia McHugh of Simi Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Garside of Whittier, Calif., and Jack Garside of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 5701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Nancy Elaine Gilman, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Maine. A resident for three years, she worked in the printing department of Berrys Plastic.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; and two daughters, Deborahann Gilman of California and Grayce Nordborg-Gilman of Henderson.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Highland Hills Baptist Church, 615 College Drive, Henderson. Graveside services will be 8 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, Boulder City, is handling arrangements.
Albert Hoelscher
Albert Hoelscher, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A longtime employee of the gaming industry and a retired Air Force veteran, he was born May 14, 1936, in North Dakota.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; five daughters, Paula Hoelscher, Pamela Franklin, Lisa Harris, Susan Tamayo and Lee Powell; three brothers, Ernie Hoelscher, August Hoelscher and George Hoelscher; five sisters, Mabel Heller, Marie Jones, Ella Cleary, Anne Jundt and Betty Kaylor; and seven grandchildren.

Ludger O. 'Monty' Lamontange
Ludger O. "Monty" Lamontange, 75, of Henderson died Oct. 24 in Las Vegas. He was born March 1, 1927, in Massachusetts. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired manager for Lockheed Aerospace and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Lawrence O.; one daughter, Christene Colton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-noon Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Kai Lee, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Hong Kong. A resident for 27 years, he was a hotel cook.
He is survived by three sons, Paul Lee and Peter Lee, both of Las Vegas, and David Lee of Tempe, Ariz.; one daughter, Reina O'Connor of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Phil E. Logsdon, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for 23 years, he was born Sept. 24, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Judith.

John F. Matull, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1938, in Arno, Va. A resident for six years, he was a public relations consultant in the health care industry and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene; one son, Michael Matull of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; two daughters, Carolyn E. Fregoso and Tonya L. Matull, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Ilka Leona McMinn, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 7, 1962, in Jackson, Calif. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by six daughters, Nicole Bennett, Sarah McMinn, Jessica McMinn and Kara McMinn, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Autumn McMinn and Kristin Callie Rose Alumbaugh, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Kenneth L. McMinn of Sioux Falls and Jonathan Michael Alumbaugh, both of Las Vegas; her father, Laurence Bennett of Cathedral City, Calif.; her mother, Katherine Bennett of Modesto, Calif.; two brothers, Kurt C. Bennett of Oak Glen, Calif., and Walter Bennett of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Marianna Gibbens of Chapman, Kan.; and one grandchild.

Margaret Mary McGreevey, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 2, 1935, in Jersey City, N.J. A resident for two months, she was a retired postal worker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marcie McGreevey of Las Vegas and Joan Reynolds of Jersey City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Leila J. Pajari, 84, of Las Vegas died Oct. 24 in Thousand Palms, Calif. She was born June 14, 1918, in Alabama. A resident for 30 years, she was a PBX operator.
She is survived by one daughter, Janis Sprouse, and one son, Robert E. Hicks, both of California; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Iva Gene Pollard, 66, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A supervisor, she was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Alabama.
She is survived by one son, Michael Pollard of North Las Vegas.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Vanaken of Las Vegas and Harriet Ealey of Goldfield; one son, David Dennis of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lois Atchley of Tucson and Velma McAdams of Las Cruces, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Adele Scott, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Philadelphia. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired actress, a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ralph T. Scott; three sons, Joseph Kals Soler of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Michael M. Soler of Henderson and David A. Soler of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Albert Oliver of Canoga Park, Calif.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jenice L. Sell, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1938, in Memphis, Texas. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; three daughters, Rhonda Ross of Henderson and Cheryl Washart and Leslie Sell, both of Las Vegas; one son, Jack Sell, her mother, Margaret Burkhalter, two brothers, Douglas Anthony and Billy Anthony, and one sister, Kartherne Ramos, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial will follow.

Delores Jean Shelley, 65, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Kalamazoo, Mich. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two brothers, Brenda Shelley of Las Vegas and Candy Jones of Kalamazoo; one brother, William Jones of Kalamazoo; one niece, Donita George of Gobles, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and four grandchildren.
